I'm not talking about Ted Haggart as such here. But about Christian people in general, who were married, suppressing their true feelings of homosexuality, and simply couldn't refuse their true homosexual feelings anymore.

How does that make you feel?

Sad, because your religion obviously told him it's wrong being the way he is? Sad, because he gave in to his feelings? Sad, because he's going to hell now?

I'm seriously curious how such things make you feel.

Christianity is not a particularly anti-homosexual religion. While Conservative Christians focus on the seven Bible passages that condemn Homosexuals, many Christians are uncomfortable with such beliefs.

And who says Ted Haggard is going to Hell? Almost no Christian believes in damnation occurring before a person dies.

As for me, I feel sad for Ted Haggard. He believed that he was evil, and fought it. And he failed. I don't think his life is over, I don't think he's going to Hell, and I don't think he's that much worse than a lot of other people.

I feel Ted Haggart made some bad decisions. We all have the option of doing that, and we all know there are consequences, good or bad, to our good and bad decisions. He, even more so, should know better than to do what he did. God will hold him accountable. Anyone can suppress or live out their homosexual fantasies, if they have them. They also just need to know that there are consequences. I feel bad for Ted, because he is in a bad situation. I think it is good that maybe people can learn from his mistakes though. He is only human, right? IF, there is a standard of right and wrong, and there is someone that set that standard, there is nothing you or I can do about that. We can only respond. It does no one any good, to make it like something is ok, when it is not. The good news is that he can repent like all of us, and be forgiven by the God of the universe. I hope he does this.

Many people sin, they are not out in the open like some.
But God help us all.Homosexuality is still a sin ,but not a sin unto death. He can repent and be healed.
If you read Romans Chapter 1,you will see it is sin.People giving into sin.Spirits of homosexuality are all over the place,as are other spirits.
Child molesters,sodomite's,rapist,all sexual spirits.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.But they come at some people very strong. They are not strong enough to resist.
We need to always pray for one another.
Love covers a multitude of sin.<><

I think Ted Haggard needs a Savior just like I do.

As a basic Christian, my attitude is that it's between them and God. I shall keep on truckin' forward.

Mostly disappointed because It's another example for non-Christians to use as a hypocrite.
