I just got home from the airport, and was struck, yet again, at the savagery we go through and put each other through at the baggage claim. Standing 3-5 rows deep, right up to and even leaning over the edge of the baggage claim. When someone tries to grab a bag, or check to see if it's theirs, they get dragged down the carousel three or four people before they're able to flip it or pull it off, then they struggle to get out of the crowd with their bags.

Every airport, every flight, every time I see this.

Why can we not ALL stand 10-20 feet back, look at the bags to see if we recognize ours, and easily walk up to the carousel to pull it out without fighting a crowd at the same time?

Everyone, can see their bag, no one gets injured, less damage to bags, etc. Is this such a foreign concept?

This is weird!...

I think I heard this in my British Lit. class (we discuss religion a lot in there) ...my teacher spoke of some Angels who came down to earth to have sex with woman on earth and they produced like "super-natural" beings....

Consider, Jesus died to save bad people. If you terminate someone's life before they are saved, then for that person you have made Jesus' death on the cross, a failure! Do you want to be the one to explain to God why there were considerations more important then the cross? Or, would you extend to the cross, more time?

The more I study evolution, the more confused I am. What causes it? A Triceratops evolves from protoceratops, getting facial horns and the neck shield curls forward to allow better head movement so it can fight. Ok, why didn't the protoceratops grow wings to fly away? Because it was too heavy and wings large enough would have been awkward and the amount of energy needed to power its flight would have been enormous. So, that would have been a poor adaptation. Why don't creatures grow scales instead of fur when it gets colder? Another poor adaptation. But what knew that? Some instinct in the creature's mind that knew how to alter the DNA of the offspring? I cannot fathom how evolution works without some kind of governing intelligance that is capable of factoring data of the enviroment and causing changes best suited to deal with the new enviroment. I'm not bringing this up to disprove evolutionists, I'm just wondering what the answer is.

Like can babies see ghosts possibly, because about twice a month in my house cabnets will open and dishes may fall out, or un-explained noises may occur, but recently my new born (3 months) was in the kitchen with me, I was eating cereal, and my fridge door swung open. Before the fridge door swung open my baby was making noises, but as soon as it happened he got very quiet so I looked at him and his eyes were definetely following something... Anyone know anything about this and/or have articles that relate to this? Thanks.

I see so many questions about why black people do this or that. Why do we speak a certain way> Why do we walk a certain way? Why do we dance a certain way? Why do we think this way or that way? I am telling you, we are it? We have to be. I always was taught that when someone insults that it is because they are jealous. We black women have natural curves. Men for their prowess. Then on top of that we are now getting some of the best jobs, homes, and education. I am sure that I am going to get some "you are a racist" answer. I am just a woman that is proud of her heritage and how far that we have came. THe proof is in forums like this one. Remember behind every insult there is someone that want to be just like us. Can you tell that we have become an object of jealousy?

So I think this is an interesting question. If slavery were legal, would you buy a slave? If you could own someone you knew would you do it? Obviously society makes us feel uncomfortable about this question, but if it were accepted, what would you do.
