Or will the children of the world (that is of the flesh) will always outwit, outsmart the children of light?

If Christians are not of this world, does that, mean unbelievers would always take advantage of them at some point?

God gives Christians wisdom in all situations. A lot of people believe that Christians are weak and stupid when it comes to the things of the world. That is the farthest thing from the truth.
We are not of this world in the sense that we do not participate in evil schemes and we stay away from situations that could harm us spiritually.

We are to be gentle as doves and wise as serpents. Many of us are very trusting and see the good in people, so in that sense, yes we can be a bit gullible. But not all of us, all of the time. I think Lincoln knew that too.

They understand sinister schemes, but don't fabricate them or see them behind every action and under every rock.
They are not OF this world, but they are still in it.

Yes ,many times the unrighteous will win over the righteous.
But its at the end of the book you see the whole picture.

I think that Christians that i have met are in denial to what they are doing and how they come across. I find them to not be sinister in their heart.. but the have the same affect
