The old God is quite mean, killing off everyone in a flood, putting plagues upon entire civilisations, acting as a force of tribal warfare in the book of Joshua, torturing poor Job, if he's perfect why did he commit these actions only to renounce them later?

I know i asked an question earlyer about would u cheat on ur girl if another girl was showing u more attention. You see, there's this guy... and he`s a celebrity.. not a Hollywood one.. no.. he`s a wrestler for the WWE... and I don`t only like him for his looks.... He makes my heart melt and he`s more than just a gorgeous piece of meat... his heart is bigger than the world. I know how he is outside of wrestling but I've never met him. I want him, I love him. When people would give thanks to God because of their abundant blessings..when really...they got it from the "world"...further saying they were so blessed that God blesses them.

Minneapolis just announced that cab companies can NOT refuse customers with use of alcohol or have a service animal. This particular cab company have refused service base on religious beliefs.

The cab company is hired by the city to provide a service. The cabs have exclusivity of this service for the city (no competition). They have the right to refuse people that pose a threat.

I'm talking about religions which promote compassion towards animals and vegetarianism.

Not God mandated animal slaughter on a massive scale like in the Old Testament.

I find it hard to believe any loving God would be pleased by humans slitting the necks and bleeding lambs.
A sick, cruel and messed up God would like that, but the way the world is,
perhaps God IS cruel and sick!

I recognize that not all parents are unconditionally loving, but most are, even to the point of sacrificing themselves to save their wayward children. Jesus even used the example of a parent's unconditional love in the parable of the prodigal son.

However, I'm not certain where eternal torment in hell fits with unconditional love.

If hell exists at all, isn't that testimony that most parents are more loving than God?
