Calling the police won't help or at least it didn't help me they told me without proof they couldn't get the person in trouble. Try a little sugar in their gas tank!!!!

That depends on exactly how you're planning on getting them back. If you are going to do something to that person's vehicle now, don't tell anyone what your'e planning, not even you're friends. The fewer people who know, the less chance of getting busted. You could even pretend you have no idea who keyed your car. That way it will seem like you have no motive for doing something to this person. Or you could go the other way with it, and contact the authorities. But just make totally sure you know who did it. Even if you didn't actually SEE them key your car, you can just pretend you DID see them, then get a friend to back you up. With witnesses this person is sure not to get off the hook.

If you've ever heard "what comes around goes around" think of it in this situation. You may REALLY want to key this person's car and I don't blame you. But, what IF you do get caught? Nothing is foolproof and then you're left with paying for what happened and probably time spent in court. I know this may be very difficult to do but you need to try. If letting this person know in person or through another means that you know he/she keyed your car that might just be enough to allow you to move on. Otherwise, getting revenge may only backfire on YOU in the end. Good luck.

1- Honest, intelligent solution: Threaten him that unless he pays you, you will report him to the police. If he doesn't pay you the damage, do report him to the police.
2- Evil, stupid vindictive solution: Pump cement into the tires. Make sure you leave it full of cement and leave it sitting on the rims. Makes it impossible to move the car. Or simply drop some sugar into the gas tank to completely ruin the engine.
Obviously, I advice you to go with option number 1.

Go to a library and pull out the advertisement card for every magazine they have. Then fill out the person's name and subscribe them to a gazillion different magazines.
Retaliation through junk mail. It's not a lot but it's a little bit satisfying.

How do you know for sure it was this person? If you have solid proof then take him or her to small claims court so you can have them pay for a new paint job. If you don't have proof....then you should do nothing, as you can not know for sure. If you do something in revenge....it will just lead up to more problems..not worth it.

I would avoid the repercussions of revenge and confront the cause first to say the least.

Let it go. Someone keyed my car too. I went to their parents & was accused of being a racist. Forget it. Everything you do, good or bad, comes back to you.
