I can make predictions. Usually I remember it from a dream or I have a flash. Also, I can usually make correct predictions about dice etc. if I focus and concentrate.
One of the dreams I had was about my sister losing her job. The next day I was debating on whether or not to mention it to her because there was basically no way she could lose her job because she was one of the best workers. I decided to inform her and we both started laughing and joking about it. Well, two weeks later she got fired. The reason she was fired is because they did a random drug test and she failed it. She had taken a Loricet for her back a couple days prior to being fired.
This is just one example of many other things I've done with witnesses present.

The answer is NO. Noone is 100% accurate, nor can they be. Thing with predictions of any kind is that they can only be based on the current trend in a person's life or whatever information they receive from their "psychic abilities". The outcome of all predictions can change, depending on the actions of others to change them. For example, if I were to predict that you would go to the store tomorrow, but it was raining hard and you chose not to go, then my prediction would be rendered inaccurate.
Most predictions would also require some effort in order to make them come true. For example, if I said to you that your vehicle would break down (and it did) and that you would find an automechanic who would fix it, you would need to place the effort to find that automechanic, otherwise he won't just show up (therefore rendering my prediction inaccurate).
Premonitions and other visions of future, cataclysmic events cannot actually be considered as "true" predictions unless they actually come to pass. When Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit, I "saw" them in a series of vivid dreams, but didn't know when they would strike, just that they would. They were not actual predictions until those events occurred, just as I'd seen them.
And, since the future is composed of one of several possibilities, prognosticators can only see bits and pieces of any one of them, but whatever happens is still based on the actions and choices and free will of others to change the outcome.

I wouldn't say tell the future, but I think a lot of people can see strong potential.
It's something in my family but I haven't inherited it :-(
My great-uncle knew that my brother was going to marry his friend Mary Beth when they were kids, just by seeing them sit side by side in church.
My great grandma knew my brother was going to become a preacher (he hasn't yet but he has the schooling for it
My mom also has a knack for knowing when people like each other and how possible is it they will get together. She knew as soon as my husband and I first started liking each other (before even dating) that we would be married.
So yes, I would say that is a correct assumption.
