I break commandments, i sin, etc. How can I fix this? If there is Eden, Heaven, I want to get into it.

I don't go to Church anymore, can my deeds make up for my sins? I am catholic too by the way.

You have chosen your religion based upon what was passed onto you from what you learned while growing up. Not one religious person can tell me that THEIR God said directly to them "I AM THE GOD OF GODS, obey or burn or whatever (you have chosen to do)! You made a conscience choice to follow an order and generally with influences from somebody that pushed you into this structure. Well I have one question for you-How can you despies or convert or try to otherwise demean someone of another belief when they were of the same inspiration as you? They chose based on their mentors as well. They believe in God-So whose to say hat they will go to hell? I do not believe in YOUR God or Theirs because I want us all to make this world a happy better place to live sharing the ideas that promote intellectual opportunity and motivation-rather than find a way to say "I AM BETTER THAN YOU BECAUSE....." because you believe in God? Because you accepted something YOU CAN NOT PROVE? All men are equal

From the "Christians" of South Africa, to the "Christians" of North/South America and the West Indies...I just wonder how they figured it was "Christian" to enslave other peoples when the bible states clear as day in Genesis "Let us make man in our image". For argument's sake, God didn't say "Hey, let us make these polka dot people to be inferior and slaves to the striped people".
Yes, I read history. I know slaves have been about in every society. Check and roger. I just wonder how the neo-Christians that inhabited the "New world" and Africa found it just to enslave as such actions clearly contradict the words in their bible God spoke.

Then, was it Christian to withhold their rights once slavery was abolished through apartheid/segregation, (apply where thou wilt)?? If all men (humankind) were made in the image of God, according to Christianity, was it Christian behavior to enslave and strip rights from other men?

I'm just saying...

Canadian First Nations people have several additional rights that other canadians do not. They get more hunting and fishing rights, first choice at government jobs, selected first for police jobs, do not pay taxes (when they live on their reserves which are basically just towns) etc etc.

Why do our governments continually build them houses when they tear down the walls in 2 years, punch holes in the walls, clean seals and other wild game in the bath tub, its a disgrace and the proof is in Nain, Davis Inlet, and other reserves I am sure.

My great great great great great grandfather moved here 400 years ago, same as people from India, Poland, Russia etc still move here today....are they going to owe me anything because I was here first? Or course not.

When you add all taxes up, a man that makes 100,000 a year we pay about 50% in taxes. Native population is now at 3% of canada, if it gets to 20% we might as well be their wiggers cause they will own us. When will I be an Equal?

Yea, there's this exchange student at my school from Japan and the other day she wore a shirt to school that said, "f***k you" on it and she had no idea it was a bad word. It took like forever for us to explain to her that is was a bad word and what it meant. So, I was wondering if anything like this ever arises again, what should I say? I am a gay teen and I hate it. I wish that I was a straight guy. I want to like girls but there is nothing there. I had a girlfriend but I felt no attraction at all. In fact she broke up with me yesturday because we dont communicate enough. I want to be attracted to girls so bad. I have crushs on two of my male friends but I wish I didn't. First of all, I'm a Pagan, let's just start with that so there's no confusion, okay?

Now...

- Females can become Priestesses, which have equal status to priests
- Good people who aren't Christian can get into Heaven
- Abortions are alright in certain cases (like if the baby would die if born, or baby and mother would die if it was born, etc)
- Gays can marry
- Priests can have relationships/marry

So, would this make you hop onto the Christian boat? Or would it make you appreciate Christianity more, at the very least? Would anything else need to change?

Again, I'm Pagan. But I'm curious.

in my previous question i stated how murdering the murderer will not bring the victim back. it does state in the old testament that the punishment of sin is death. okay 1) GOD is the only one that can give us our punishment of death. 2) the punishment of sin is death only when we continue in our sin until we die without repentence.
