Jesus said, "For just as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." My question is this: how did Jesus consider Friday evening to Sunday morning to be "three days and three nights"?

Someone once told me.
"so, in god's eyes we are not worthy of the kingdom of heaven.
thank god for jesus the mediator, who will vouche for us if we are sincere about accepting him. "

Similar Scenario:
The director thinks that you are not worthy to be in his company.
The manager after days and days of persuasion, finally made the director change his mind.
Inorder to let us into his company.

Question:
Do you think you will be treated well in this company?

"i have friend telling me that we will receive eternal life and ever lasting happiness!
Eternal Life : I Agree "Because i believe".
Everlasting Happiness: Hmm.... Some doubt. He dont even like us in the first place.
i think we will be treated like second class citizen.

Humans, animals, etc have children. They are created in their parents image. A parent is God in the eyes of a child too. A kid sees their father as an all powerful being too.

Do you as an American feel that the invention of the Music Television Channel in the 80's has since destroyed music?!

I often hear people say that music was so much better in the 70's and before. Do you think that MTV has responsibility for this?

I have also heard "MTV takes your culture and sells it back to you."
Do you agree?! Why or Why not?

I was raised a fundamentalist and attended southern Baptist schools until I graduated high school (including two years homeschooling). Somewhere along the line I turned into an angsty teenager and started questioning everything, including the religon that a: surrounded me with people who never questioned ANYTHING (or stopped eating, for that matter), and b: outlawed both premarital sex and pop radio, both of which I was itching to indulge in.

It is strange to see things from both points of view. I am now agnostic, but not long ago I was one of the pigtailed, plaid-skirted girls who handed out "Jesus Saves" pamphlets at the supermarket. The sight of that makes me almost angry now, and I think that has something to do with my former religion, which was handed to me along with my gender, skin color and, yes, sexual orientation. Luckily, I can actually change my religion.

Has anyone else altered theirs?

if the USA and China are such huge partners now, i guess well all be required to learn both languages in like 30-40 years into the future. So whats harder to learn from a foreigner's point o view? Also, would it be a different case if your very first language was phonetic (like English) or based on symbol writing (like Chinese)??

If you let the person live, perhaps they will repent of their sins, and come to God and be forgiven. Why take this chance from them, so long as they can be kept away from harming anyone else?

Just interested in peoples' perspectives. Thanks.
