If you're Christian, it's better understood as "You reap what you sow".

karma as in the total effect of ones conduct...well...what goes around, comes around. Karma as in Buddhism and Hinduism... determining one's destiny in a future life, no. The Bible says that unforeseen circumstances can happen to anyone. But I do think (this is purely my own opinion and not that of any religion) that if we treat others badly or unjustly, that we can rest assured that somewhere our bad behavior will catch up with us. Call it the law of the land if you will, or natural consequences for bad behavior. So, your question about the USA, probably, but maybe no more than any other worldly government now in existence.

Karma is real, and America has a great deal to worry about. But the reason is rejecting the truth of the Bible. A great deal of Evil has been done by America, and I strongly feel the USA is on borrowed time now.

I've often thought that, but since I'm agnostic, I only like karma as a concept and would never say I "know" it exists. However, the USA will have many instances of real-world payback to deal with, due to its warmongering and imperialist attitude! If karma gets this country too, we know where to put the blame!

No Karma is much like religion a means of controlling gullible people. Instead of invoking a God they use an unseen unknown force.

Karma is crap. Here's an example to prove that:
1. Let's say Bob is a vegetarian. He has never touched a piece of meat in his life.
2. One day Bob enters a rodeo contest. He believes every bull and horse he will ride will be tame, because he never hurt their kind in any way.
3. The bull or horse will surely buck. Just because Bob did good things towards these creatures, it doesn't mean they will return the favor.
The same rules apply to life.

Karma is not real. It's an idea invented to make people fear the results of their actions, especially ones with negative attributes.

It's better to think and know when something is good or bad than to fear some hidden form of natural justice.

1) I like the idea of Karma being the universal balancer.

2) I would say so, yes.

Karma is something I was taught....but Fate may be closer to what I actually believe. Either way the USA is in deep.

Keep living, and pay attention to your life experiences. If youare smart, and learn from your mistakes, you will see that karma is definitely REAL.
