Why do we live in a society that measures time by the names of Pagan Gods and idols?
Monday = Moons Day
Tuesday = Tiwe, a Saxon Goddess
Wednesday = Wodin , a Norse God
Thursday = Thor a Norse God
Friday = Fria, She was Thors consort
Saturday = Saturnalia a Roman God of Agriculture whose festival the Saturnalia, a sex based celebration to encourage the growth of the crops by celebrating human fertility.
Sunday = Suns Day

ok, one you sorta messed up like half of that and two, if you dont like pagan things in todays society, youll have to change EVERYTHING in modern culture, Paganism was the lergest most dominate (and peaceful) group of faiths in the pre-monotheistic world.
Monday-Mani's day, day of the norse god mani, of the moon
Tuesday- Tyr's Day, Day or the Norse god Tyr, god of courage and battle.
Wendsday- Woden (Anglo saxon for Odin) day of the Norse god of wisdom
Thursday- Thors day, Day of Thor, norse god of storms and nature
Friday- Day of the Norse Goddes Freya, goddes of Fertility and sexual pleasure
Saturday- "Day of the pagan God Saturn, evolved form of the persian god Mithra once integrated into Roman culture
Sunday- Day of the norse goddess "sunni"

Tiwe is a Babylonian Goddess, history is so lost :(
Thor's wife is Sif, maybe he was with Fria for a short time
Norse is actually Caananite
Christians havent demolished all of history but 40% is lost because of them.
Tiwe is Tuesday, dont listen to the other people saying its Tyr's day

Why do all those pagan gods let us number the years based on the year Jesus was born?
Maybe they made some sort of deal off on those eternal shores:
"Okay, Woden -- they can still call Wednesday after you, but I get the years and Istanbul has to be called 'Constantinople'."
"Fine, but we want the Christians to keep putting up holly and mistletoe when they *think* they're celebrating your birthday!"

For the same reason that a Christian God lets people celebrate a pagan christmas holiday--just to name one-all in good time, all in good time. The end of this system will be the end of all pagan-based things--names, false gods, holidays, and so many other disgusting things.

Friday:Either Frigg(Odin's wife) or Freyja(Norse fertility goddess)

The vasy majority of people are not aware of this.
Anytime I've ever brought the origins of the names of they days of the week up I get blank stares from people and the inevitable: "Why do you KNOW these things?"

Why He only created you with free will so you can do anything you want to do. It is just that you will be accountable to Him for all you do. So you need guidance from Him to stay out of trouble.
And of course there is only one true God. All of the rest who claim to be God need to be cemented in place to stay standing.

he doesn't allow us,man has made these up and we are under mans rule..one day we will revert back to the solar calendar instead of the lunar.forget leap year and turning the clock back. we will work from sun up to sun down and worship god daily instead of on suns day anyway sounds like your a fellow jw

It is the Hebrew calendar that we ahould concern ourself, for this is the guide toward the end times.
