Within. The only reason confusion is reigning is because ppl try to make their personal vision of god be the truth for everyone. The only truth you will find is within yourself.

Thats true, and its one of the signs of the end-times. If you take the word confusion back to the Hebrew, it translates: Babylon.
Ever hear of sister babylon in the Book of Revelation? There ya go. However, for those who would rather listen to what God says, rather than what man says, The Bible is available - its just that a vast majority of people are biblically illiterate. When you are Biblically illiterate, and listen to man, you get confusion. God is not the author of confusion,

if you want to know just read the Bible and pray and let the Holy Ghost move upon you and then Holy Ghost will guide you to the truth.
sometimes it is good to ask someone if you dont understand but you have to keep in mind that the person may believe in something and try to get you to believe in what they believe.
and people make the mistake also not just waiting for an answere but a lot of times they got an answere and did not realize it. like maybe someone the next day invites them to church or what not. and they say thanks but i got stuff to do.

Only God can reveal God.
"Blessed are you Simon, son of Jona, for flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17)
"At that very hour Jesus greatly rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said "I thank You Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You hid these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed it unto babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him" (Luke 10:21,22)
"If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God..." (John 7:17)
Humble yourself before Him, and simply ask Him. He's very kind and gracious to the humble.

You find it by asking God. If he's not there than nothing will happen but ie he is real and you seek him out with sincerity than he will reveal himself to you.
Where people mess up is that they expect God to show himself right away but when it doesn't happen they give up and stop seeking. You have to wait for God's timing.

www.watchtower.org is a nice place to start and then as you search for God you can use it as a comparison.
You would be amazed at how much you can learn from just one of their magazines which has been published continuously since 1879.
All though this organization has received much opposition, even banning the preaching work in over 20 countries, they continue to grow very quickly.
