Well, we all have issues but here is the beginning for you:
"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
-John 17:3
Also, this and other Sciptures show a difference between Almighty God and his Son. The above was actually a part of a prayer by Jesus to His Father.
Catholics strongly believe in the Trinity. YOU either do or don't, right?
You must ask questions and be given resonable answers as resonableness is from above:
"But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable {Lit., “yielding.”}, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical. 18 Moreover, the fruit of righteousness has its seed sown under peaceful conditions for those who are making peace." -James 3:17-18
Be assured that if you are indeed searching with the right heart motivation you are promised you will indeed learn Bible Truth.

Sin is inherited from Adam and Eve. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. No your deeds can not make up for your sin. Deeds without acts are dead. Take bible studies in your spare time.

No matter how many good deeds you do on this earth, The Bible says that there is only one way to atone for your sins and gain passage to heaven. This way is to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
If you are truly sorry for your sins and want to ask forgiveness from God, you can! Right now! Just say this short prayer::
Dear God, I want You, and I know I need You in my life. I realize that I am a sinner, and I repent of my ways. I am sorry for the wrongs I have committed against you and I am asking you now for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died on the cross in my place and rose again to atone for my sins. Help me to walk in Your ways Lord as I begin my new life in You.
If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart, congratulations! You are now a child of God, and you will be going to heaven to be with Him when your time on earth is over! But your walk with Christ has just begun. In order to grow in your new relationship, start by reading your Bible and going to church. These two things will help you to stay on the right path.
It is important to relaize that now, all your sins are atoned for; That means past, present, and future ones as well! But that does not make sin acceptable. Be careful that you do not exploit God's gift of forgiveness.
You can find more references in The Bble. Good luck! =)
