Sure I can.
I can also tell when someone is just plain obnoxious, rude or insulting.
If you ask me a question that makes me think, then I, for one, thank you. If you say "How can you stupidly deny what is so blatantly obvious you brain-dead muppet!*" just because I don't believe what you believe, then you are not trying to get me to think, you are abusing me for having a different set of beliefs.
Sadly, that is all that many people in the R&S section do - Christian, Muslim, atheist, Catholic, Protestant, whatever.
If you do have a question to make me think, ask away. If you don't, go away.

Where is the battle field at when you read something?
We are to strenghten our thoughts, hearts and spirit with the words that we give to others. Either to build up a person or God forbid.... tear them down.

Most of us are thinking individuals already.
