I was given a bobble hat and a packet of fake tattooes from a friend and that was dreadful. I know we should be thankful for what we receive but there is sometimes a limit. so what was the very worst thing you have ever given to someone or had as a present.

last year there was a fire guard protecting my brother and sister from the fire, so we hung our xmas stockings on there. only now they're bigger and we dont need a fire guard, and ive tried sticking them to the fire place by sticky tape, but they fall off. how else can i hang the xmas stockings?

Like ... if you give gifts to kids and maybe they will start liking you just because you always buy things for them. Or you buy things for your aunts / relatives / mom ... and they might not really appreciate it ... or maybe the gift is not that expensive e.g. the necklace is not really sterling silver and might make you itch .. but I guess jewellery will make people happy anytime ...

i would like to say that i am really not in the christmas mood--this is the saddest holiday for me ever-even worse my moms birthsay is on christmas and she is a thousand miles away--really.

All I wanted to know is the facts about STEELERS getting into the playoffs and the world is filled with jerks that cant resist hurting someone else with their comments. Everytime I post a good question on this site, there is always people who like to make you feel stupid and bring you down to their level. Where did any holiday spirit go or just basic human decency? I hope you have no problem living with yourselves and do you really feel good about who you are inside? I still wish everyone a great holiday!!!

Given that almost eveything (Wal-Mart, Meijer, Kroger, etc) are closed and that Walgreens is open on Christmas Day, should Walgreens start following suit and close or at least those that are not 24 hours close on Christmas Day?

It was brought to my attention that the question of gay marriages would be more readily accepted if the word "marriage" were dropped and changed to civil union. Same sex couples would have the same benefits of marriage, just not the, well, marriage. I'm interested in hearing how gay and straight people would respond to this!
