Thank you for sharing, I also want to share what is deep inside of me. Jesus Christ is a best gift that God has given to me. He is a comfort to me at all times.
Knowing that Jesus Christ the son of God, born that day to die on the cross to save my sins. Also, knowing that Christians pick December 25, to celebrate His birthday. The result is, everyone even the one who does not believe in Him, still celebrates this day and whole seasons with joy. I used to want everything for Christmas, but lost my desire after I started to understand what the reason for this season.
One of Yahoo questions I want to answer, but I find it too late. Someone already got the best answer for it. A person who use the name “Techie” asked, “ Why is it Merry Christmas and not Happy Christmas like any other wishes (Happy New year, Happy Chanukkah)?”
This is my answer:
New year would become old year next year. Christians pick December 25, to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. The result is, everyone even the one who does not believe in Him, still celebrates this day and whole seasons with joy. To be happy with something is not last for ever, but to be joyful with the spirit of God is last eternity.

Sorry to hear that you can't be with your mom this holiday season but you and her ARE together in spirit. If you have read some of my responses, I am glad that they have given you a smile or too.this x-mas season. I know what it is like to be really down in the dumps for this the most joyous of holidays, In '92 I lost both of my parents and one of my favorite uncles. I went ahead and celebrated the holiday because I knew that is what they would have wanted me to do even though my older brother, who at the time was not wiser, didn't want to. It took a few years for me to be able to celebrate christmas by myself but I am doing it and I generally enjoy it. The best thing to do is call your mom on Christmas/birthday and wish her Happy Birthday and a Very Merry Christmas and tell her how much you love and care for her. That will be all the gift she needs from you.
I really hope that you HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is nice ....and I'm so sorry for the people who said that this is not a question, I'm not sorry for you but for them...cause they need guides like donkeys....
you are making a nice gesture and all they think about is rules...
That is sad...very sad and it's step back for humanity.....
" The miracle of Christmas is the miracle of love".
May the miracle of Christmas fill our hearts with joy....
Merry Christmas and Happy New year

OK, so I won't be a Grinch and report you, but you know, this is not a question. We'll go back to being troll-busters about the rules on the 26th of December. Merry Christmas, yourself.
