I'm from Romania and if you've heard, it's the land of all possibilities (bad) and there's not much going on here especially in Craiova. I want to know more about american way to live, how people think. I thought it would be a good idea to ask someone who really lives there.

If your kid was missing you would be freaked worried, but if your kid was at your moms or sisters house that you trusted dearly you would not be so concerned. Then would you not be happy instead of crying when a loved one died and you knew was in heaven??

Jesus IS the true Son of God. God sent him to the arth to die for us.not just any death.a death on a cross.not just a death on a cross.They pulled the beard out of his face,spit on him,and beat him.HE IS THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS!!! when our day on earth is over we will ALL stand before him in judgement if you have not accepted him as Lord and Savior. The world may not beileve this Jesus man.as they call Him.But if you do I PROMISE to you that when we all go to judgement you WILL go to Heaven.JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!!! Those who do not believe in Jesus you worship some other false God will go into judgement and He will send You to hell. Hell is a VERY scary place. It is known as the place of eternal tourture and suffering. When you go to hell you are completely seperated from God. First of all, I am a Christian, and if all you want to tell me is that I'm a fool to believe in God, or that I am not saved for feeling the way I do at times, then please don't answer. It is really just a waste of time for both of us.
Christians are usually thought of as always being optimistic and hopeful and full of light, but I find myself feeling depressed and trapped in my life. I feel like a freak in that I do things differently then most people I know. I wind up becoming obsessed with things that are sometimes dark and seem out of place in my life, because I find myself being annoyed with "Happily ever after". Is this wrong of me? It's not that I constantly feel this way. Sometimes I can be truly happy and everything feels.. right. I read the Bible, pray, and I know Jesus as Savior. I ask God for help every day. Yet I still feel like I am messing up because I act differently.

My neighbor lady says there will be music and no participation in the eucharist is allowed or required. As a fundamentalist, do you think it's wrong since I disagree that the body and blood are literally transformed instead of being symbolic? Anyone else done it? Was it weird or interesting? They do not think I'm a Christian I guess since I would not be allowed to participate. What do you think? Should I leave after the music program?

I personally am relaxing, it's in the 12:00 hour in the middle of the afternoon in sunny California and I'm not out there with all the 'buzz' of people on the street and stores. I do enjoy the holidays, do have a life and will be out soon visiting with friends...but for now, just chilling, sparking my mind reading questions, sharing answers . . . it has it's own Zen moment in it's own way. Are you relaxing or on here for other reasons?

You ask a simple question and there is always 2 or 3 morons who think they are so cool when they post something being rude, vulgar, and offensive. Do you people seriously have no life and have nothing better to do than dog on people seeking help? Or are you just cowards in real life and look to try to hurt poeple on here to try to cover your own weaknesses? Do you honestly think someone is at their computer crying over some hateful words you typed? Just curious cause I know I was raised with enough respect for others to not do something like that on purpose.

I was once part of a mega-church community. Today I am agnostic but it wasnt that long ago I remember the contempt many fundies had for Joel Osteen.

The fundies could never get real specific about why Joel Osteen was such a threat, but the answer was obvious. Osteen uses real-speak and doesnt dress his sermons in the facade of constant fundy-speak and numerical biblical references every other sentence.

See, fundies "feel" "feed" when they hear stuff like:

"Here in Jermiah 2:12-15 the lord says to run steadfastly and then he says (100 pages over) in Romans 3:21 to jump, which is why when you look back at Genesis 1:32 you can see he was happy. So remember to jump and run to make the lord happy"

When I channel surf, ocassionally I stop to watch the fundy preachers...I do it for amusement. However, when I have watched Osteen, I have actually done so for more than the standard 20 second surfers pause. Anyone can get something from the guy. Its such a joke that fundies bash him
