...I am kind of puzzled about this - where in the Bible does it say that man has a free will? I submit the fall affected our wills, also.
In Ephesians 2, we are told that we are "dead in trespasses and sins"; spiritual corpses, if you will, and helpless.
...In Romans 3, it says: "There is none righteous, no not one; there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God."
...The Old Testament says that "every imagination of mankind was only evil continually."
....We are like Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead; he was dead and had to be called and rescued by Jesus.
...Please give your views along with definite chapter/verse in Scripture.

Yes, Rasputin (AKA "The mad monk") of all people.

On one particular time when he stopped the Czar's son's hemophealiac bleeding when the Doctor's could not, they assumed it was because he did have the ability through hypnosis to lower the boys blood pressure.

The Czar's top Doctor asked him how he does it.

"My healing comes from the soul" he said.

The Doctor replied that he had done over a thousand autopsy's and never found a soul.

Rasputin asked, "How many dreams and memories did you find?"

Is that a damn good alalogy or what ?

i dont really believe this but how come scientist or no one gives this thought a chance do you think its possible a couple billion years ago people where way more technilogically advanced more than we were like had computers way more advanced then us and had flying things and tvs just out of this world type of technolgy but then through like a nuclear war and ice age and all that could possibly go wrong ended this and only a few thousand survived everything was destroyed and those few people tried to start over by living in caves and eventually evolved into what we are today

I was talking to one of my friends about enlightenment and how i'd like to reach it and they told me that it wasn't a good idea. She said it's a total state of nothingness, which sounds a lot like death to me and if i were to reach it...um....how would i get out of that state of mind?

I have a roommate, and he lacks common courtesy. I have pet peeves, and he violates both of them without believing he's doing something wrong: he uses my shower products, and he drinks straight from the Coke bottle when there are two other people (women, including myself) in the house who just wretch at the thought of backwash in our drinking products. Problem: he owns the house we live in. Any suggestions aside from "talking" to him, which has been done before and won't do any good?

I heard it is some secret club and everyone in it has rankings, but what is the purpose of it and what do you get out of being one? And also, I have this crazy friend who totally hates the government and says to be a politician you have to drink red wine out of a human skull and swear buy the devil, is this true (this guy who tells me this stuff really is losing his mind so i don't wether or not to believe him)?

Does it sound like Paul thinks he fell away from the faith because of fear of persecution?

(2 Timothy 1:15-18)
You are aware that all who are in Asia turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains, but when he arrived in Rome he searched for me earnestly and found me-- may the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that Day!--and you well know all the service he rendered at Ephesus.

This past week (Tuesday to be exact), I went to a funeral for my grandma's second husband. As I was listening to the eulogy (i think thats what it's called) it got me wondering.. what do they say in an Atheists or somebody who has no religious belief's eulogy ? I was also wondering because I'm leaning on the side of no religion/atheists (no hate please)

In the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas", what's with all the damn birds in the song (Partrigde in a pear tree, two turtle doves, etc)? Do these birds signify something signifigant? Are they just random ideas? Am I just crazy for thinking of this random question?

charity is one of the pillars of islam, but what's ur view about giving money to street beggars....at some places they are sent on streets to get money which later collected n given to higher authority,it's more like a business now..in such cases what should be done, should we give money when islam never prmoted begging..but promoted helping others.

while hazrat Ali(Allah be pleased with him) leading principle of life was to never scold a beggar and to give him whatever he could...

on one side it's intentions...help some one
on other side it's act ....begging

I want to do something for them to show our appreciation, what would you suggest? thanks ; )

Does that mean they no longer matter to us, or is it just the technicality of the holy relationship is no longer necessary and is therefor non-existant, as you're with God? Do they just become like anybody else?
