First of all, how do you even know that Africans didn't advance in technology like Europeans did? Think about the Ancient Egyptians; math, architecture(and Egypt IS in part of Africa.. peopel always act like it isn't). Have you ever thought about all of the instances in which Europeans went around the world and took ideas from other culture?_________ And regardless; NO Africans were not and are not genetically inferior, technology has nothing to do wiht genetics. Technology is figuring out ways to make life easier, so even if Europeans were more techologically advanced it just points out that they weren't as capable of doing things so they had to figure out ways to make up for it.

Is this in regard to the history of anthropology where an anthropologist (I forget whom) decided he was going to be able to tell the differences in genetics by measuring how many dried beans (maybe marbles) that each races' heads held?

If you possibly misheard some information...let me try to correct you here.

An anthropologist in the early 1700's decided that intelligence could be determined by the size of the skull. He found and verified a skull from each known skin color at the time, and he determined that a black person's head held the LEAST amount of beans or marbles.

It was believed to be true and legitimate research for about 70 years, but was then determined ludicriss by a major part of the world.

If you believe that Africans (it is capitalized, dear) have a genetically inferior DNA, then I suggest you travel to Aftica. Particularly South Africa. People there live in homes, apartments, mansions. They have all of the electronic conveniences that Americans have, and are just as intelligent, and have the same variability, as any other culture.

If this is due to what you are seeing on the television, allow me to enlighten you some more.

I was a peer mentor a few years back. One of the other students I worked with was from a small country in the Soviet Union (USSR). Her parents did not want her to come to America because everyone here in the US owns a gun and was not afraid to use it. She and her parents thought that the US was shoot 'em up/gang/mobster heaven.

She did learn that this was not true, but the TV shows that are broadcast in her country were Law and Order, Bonanza and a couple other violent shows.

Might I suggest trying to read a book on the subject, or look in the encyclopedia, if you have any more questions that may sound racially biased? It sounds as if you did not look up any information from a reliable, first hand resource.

Please don't play stupid. Stupid is not becoming of anyone. We all know that you would like to say that Africans or black people are genetically inferior to whites. I don't know if you are white are not, but if you are black or any other race, you should be just as ashamed of yourself. First of all, no one has "advanced in technology" like the Europeans because if you check history they were busy raping, and pillaging lands of other people (particularly people of color). Not only did whites steal lands but revolutionary ideas as well. So when you question the inferiority of other people please consider the fact that many of the ideas that Europeans staked their claim upon were actually invented, created and thought of first by people of color, such as the Africans, Native Americans etc. So as you look around at technology, keep in the back of your small mind that the advanced equipment that you hold so dear might have originally been thought of by people of color. Stop believing everything you hear and investigate and search for the real truth. People of color were surviving, curing diseases and building things such as pyramids long before the Europeans came along. It would be wise if you would close your mouth and open a world history book (not the white American version of history) before you speak or leak out your poisonous words onto the computer screen.

Hey you ignorant jerk. I know your game, you're not asking a question you're making a statement.

To answer your question, many of the people who settled Europe originated from Africa. There was a point in history where it appeared that the Moors of North Africa would move in an conquer Europe. Just about the only advantage that Europe had was that the Feudal political-economic system was more efficient than the tribal system used by the Moors.

The answer is no. However, the nature of your question indicates that you probably want us to dissolve into a tribal system based on race, which would make us much less effective. Thanks for playing. Take a hike.

Not in my opinion. I cannot say that a society that is not technological is inferior. It is simply a different type of society. Nothing more, nothing less. Yes, you need help. Probably professional help.

I do not like to use the term inferior, but it is a very real possibility that, on average, blacks are less adept at creating new technologies when compared to whites.

Necessity is the mother of invention. If they didn't invent it, it is because they were happy with what they had and felt that they didn't need it.
