Hey Crazy, I'm neither. That is to say I don't smoke but I am certainly not against it. I believe it should be allowed much the same as alcohol (which is probably more destructive to the human body than pot!).

It was made illegal because it is so easy to grow yourself and would hurt the tobacco and alcohol companies. It is far less damaging to humans than either of these and also has many benefits. It is still not something that should be done while driving or operating machinery. I do not smoke it any more and have not for a long time. I really did like it though.

I do not smoke pot. However, I am not against it; and I think it should be legal.
It is certainly no worse for anyone than alcohol is! As far as I know, there have been no babies born with fetal-marijuana-syndrome, nor has anyone developed cirrhosis of the liver from smoking it! Maybe lung cancer,...but that is another issue.
Also, marijuana has been proven effective for medical purposes.
Marijuana can be ingested with the same results as smoking, without the side effects caused by smoking.

I am sitting at my keyboard with a nice fat spliff, solid. I had some Thai before ( why all the red thread?) and i am going to finish of with a nice skunk zoot later.
I am a successful businessman, solidly married for ever with children at university or in the professions and i am a pillar of our community. I live in a very affluent area and only 3 of my neighbors do not puff. I smoke ganja openly and have never been condemned or arrested even when smoking with police present.
This is Great Britain 2001, drug capitol of Europe, were even the police have a quick joint before going out on patrol.
More than half the UK population smoke Ganja, (including a goodly portion of the government). Even Queen Victoria used to take it for period pains!
So who's against it, not the church (our local priest likes a bit of high grade). The police want it legalized (they want all drugs legalized to cut crime). The Government wants to tax it. Doctors want to prescribe it.
So here the question dosent really arise, you puff if you want it's your choice.

I'm on the fence on this one. I don't like non-doctor prescribed drugs that alter mental perspection. But then again even eating an orange does that. If marijuana had no long term damaging side effects then I'd be all for it. There is some evidence that it does some damage, but it is still preliminary and inconclusive. More studies are needed.

I smoke it once in a while to relax after something stressful, contemplate, or celebrate after an achievement like in 'The Lord of The Rings'. Sometimes you just need to unwind and slow down because life can get hectic.

ALright first off no one should be against it , why you ask?
1. It kills cancer cells (there for it cant cause it)
2. Its not addicting (your school will tell you it is but its not)
3. It iduces eating (mainly for cancer patience)
4. It brings happyness to a bad day
Why not
1. It messes up your head (you know what it does so do it alone in a basment)
So Marijuana is great, and really if your the conserned about it , stay away from it and let the people who want it have it, its not like anyones putting a joint in your mouth and saying smoke it now or all kill you..
So im saying Doshia is the awesome bud!

i had my fill of partying in the 70's. i don't do it anymore but i'm not against it. i know a few people who use it for pain due to cancer. it seems to help. it's only a bad thing when it's abused or those smoking it are driving or are high at work.
