will I can tell you what is it like for real since I am living in one:
if you are a women you will really love it here because you will have a nice family life when your children wouldn't just leave when they are all grown up and never visit , they will obey you and they will with a smile, you don't have to work if you don't want to because your husband or father have to pay for everything you want even if you do work you can just save your money because they still have to take care of you financially.
It is very safe here a lot safer that the western world the crime level is not as high as it is else where
family life here is better than else where family members see each other at least once a week
when you go to collage the country actually pay you a monthly salary
you don't pay taxes
as a women you are not treated as an object you are respected as a mother, sister, daughter and wife.
medical services are free to all people
it is more than common to have a maid and a driver (maybe 4 out of 5 families do)
you don't have to move out of your family's house (if you want to) until you are married ,you don't pay rent
there is a lot of benefits in living in my ''boring Islamic country'' that's what's on my mind right now and whether you think my country is boring or not I know one thing for sure I would never live in your un-Islamic fun country............

Life becomes boring when you start comparing yourself with the other. Islamic life in their own country like the Bedouins go day by day to their household chores and herding works. They all gather in the evening exchanging pleasantries before they finally rest. It is their life and they never get bored. Children play but they were trained to help. They always find in their tiny hands something to do and they get bored only when during a day they are asked not to do anything. For the elders, how can life be boring when by the time you wake up in the early morning, you go about to pray to the mosque or in your own quiet place to greet the God that made you and you go about your daily duties. After several hours like five or less, you go back again to the mosque and talk with your God, Take a lunch and short rest, then pray once again. Can life be boring to a man who have five times to spend with God in a day everyday of your life? Muslims have their social lives too and do not think they live in regimented kind of life. In fact, they have more than a thousand exciting stories to tell in their book of life.

Actually I think she is originally from another country I am trying to look that up at this time. I was more worried about that than her answer she gave to the judge. I don't think someone from another country that still considers them self from another country should be in the miss USA Pagent.. after they become a citizen sure and consider this their country sure. And in this country we have the right to believe what we want to which is what she said that she believes it is wrong that is her personal decision. I agree though that if she is such a devout Christian why is she in a contest like that. But again I can not judge her only have my believes. Should she have lied and said she thought it was wonderful and that we should all do it? well maybe she would have won then but at what cost? Some people seem to think that to get their rights means that everyone has to agree with them. and if you don't agree with them you have to keep your mouth shut. Maybe in Russia or Germany or Iran but thank God not in America. I am glad she had the courage to tell the truth. She was not bashing or degrading anyone.. Unlike the judge who later called her names on his site.

I have lived in two Islamic countries: I spent 17 months in Morocco, and 11 months in Iraq. I didn't find either of them boring. I found them quite interesting. I had a lot of friends in both countries.
I have also been in Kuwait and Qatar. Don't believe everything you see on TV of the Internet.

I think if you lived in an Islamic country, you really wouldnt know what your missing to begin with, so life may not be boring. Im in college and for my english class, we had a writing assignment on religion. I chose the Muslim religion. It was so interesting what I learned about this religion, and their beliefs and how women are REALLY treated, not how movies and the such portray them.

I lived in Iraq for 18 months and yes, as a woman born in America, life would be boring. Not only would it be boring, but it would be oppressive, dangerous, hot, sticky, smelly, and annoying. I would hate the idea of not being able to leave my house without a male escort.
Of course, if I had been born into that society, I would see it as normal and comforting.

My life would be short if I lived in an Islamic country. I'd get caught talking about God's Grace and be stoned to death. It would be worth it though.
God Bless you and Merry Christmas.

No------------it wouldn't be. But, I could never make you understand. It would depend on what Islamic country, too.
I almost moved to an Islamic country---tho, the government was not Islamic.

Not if it is according to the true Islam. There are alot of fundamentalists who tend to forget the true beauty of Islam.
Unless you're referring to the total peace it would bring to every street corner and hill and valley.
Peace.

No, but depending on which Islamic country we're talking about and their views about Christians, I would probably be dead or in hiding.
