One of the men I work for wants everyone to know that he is a Christian, ( thus allowing him the umbrella of goodness. )
He will work his men "" mostly Christians " till they drop and want to pay as little as possible.

I used to have faith in friends and family, but as human beings, we tend to turn our backs on ourselves for our religious beliefs. I never really had faith in God, just like I never really had faith that Santa was real and as a person raised through Catholicism, I associate one with the other now. I don't want to 'turn to Jesus' because I don't agree with a lot of people who have done that. I also don't want to become religious or anything. It's like I just want an answer to my life and I can't turn to anybody to ask it. Has anyone else ever felt this way? And pleeeeeeeease don't quote the Bible....

I've heard a few Christians say that they believe everyone "deep down inside" knows that Jesus in Lord. Do Atheists believe that everyone on some subconscious level knows that God is not real?

Hi im 20 and have a friend i have know a long time. when we where young teenswe where playing fighting when he started to grab my (Lets say Thing), we both went hard and semi stripped. that was all that happened that night. The next night we done the same but got naked and started to play with each other and we both climaxed. There was no kissing or anything like that. This went on after school for about 3 years once or twice a week but never went further than playing with each other. Although i alwas wanted to go further. He got a g/f and so did I. now that were 20 we text each other and some times it gets back to it in a jokey fella way like when he was talking about sex with his girl he would say she likes a big one and i would say its not big and i would know. Things like that.

Now I dont fancy other men but i would like to start it all up again with him just for fun, we both have girls now but cant stop thinking about it. I do still see him naked and think just go for it

It really pisses me off. People always stereotype us as angry, unattractive, promiscious, and ghetto. I'm neither of these things. I'm a very shy sista but I was raised to speak my mind and tell the truth. I'm mad because some Black women are pertpetuaing these myths. My mother and father and I worked hard for me not to be "one of these niggarish ghetto girls" And we are treated differnetly true, whenever I go to a high fashion store like Louis Vuttion people are always staring at me and saying rude stuff like "I don't think you'll like anything here, this isn't your style." or when I'm at school or on the street people act so surpised at the way my accent is and say dumb crap like "wow your so articulate" or people ask dumb questions like "how do you do you hair,do you wash your hair?" I'm on my way to college in a year and I'm going to defy every damn stereotype about Black women.

First, Im NOT a Christian hater. I was actually raised Christian but was too young to think of this. My question is,since Christmas is supposed to be celebrating the birth of Christ. (yes,I know that wasnt his actual b-date). So, is it a Christian thing to do to celebrate it with the presents or is it unChristian and your supposed to go to church to celebrate his birth? I was thinking the last one but seems like many stay home and do it the old fashioned way,celebrating themselves.

I do believe so! Regardless of the gender-culture question I give thanks to God, the God within each one of us, that helping another person discover love, fulfillment and bliss is a possibility. It is a possibility that we can find delight in.

You've seen all those movies and shows were the main characters had pretty creative ways of surprising their partners with gifts. Take for instance, Ed Harris and Julia Roberts in Stepmom. Ed Harris tied a string on Julia Roberts ring finger and slipped an engagement ring.

I already surprised my wife with some pearl earrings hidden under the pillow. But she didn't feel the box, so I actually had to give her a hint. I'd like to do better in surprising her with a second gift. This time I got her a Bulova watch.
