I see this everyday on here. But I have never seen a pagan whining about " why do we have to put up with them?"
I don't see the Hindus, the Budhist, the agnostics or even the Muslims asking this.
Is it because their beliefs are based on scientific fact that can't be disproven? You really can't argue with knowledge that is being taught all over the world in schools and Universities.
Is it offensive that most Atheist are good people even with out any religious structure in their life? The purpose of religion is to make someone a better person, but if they are a good person already then they wouldn't need it.
OR, is it the fact that they take responsability for their own actions and don't blame it on some imaginary being? Personally, I find this trait quite honorable!
So I ask again. If these people have a very well grounded, well balanced and strong foundation for their personal spiritual belief, why do so many of you want them out?
I think they are intellectually stimulating!

Christmas is not about shopping and shopping rather it is a time to celebrate with family and friends and reflects on achievements and other thing. I do not believe in the gifts which are worshiped by millions today. a friend of maine is running out of money because of gifts he is trying to get for every one in his family and friends. i told him that Christmas is not about gifts rather its a day of love and celebration regardless if you are Christian or not. a time to be happy and thankful of what you have achieved during this year and to reflect on those achievements and mistakes you have made and see how you can improve on them to accomplish that goal you didn't archive.

The kids who benefit from toys for tots are kids who are impoverished and in my opinion giving them toys is the last thing they need in their lives..provide some scholarships, buy them some books on how to not be poor, something anything positive other than some damned toys. I know some may disagree with my feelings, and thats fine, but the issue is toys are a distraction for a kid..especially some damn xbox 360 or some video game like that. Question is do poor kids need xbox360 etc. or do they need solutions to the problems that plague their community?

The big bang may have happened but someone or something must have made the matter to "bang" there is your answer to a supreme being there must be a God. If the aethist Stalin really died shaking his fist in the air 'Who was he shaking it at'?

They keep saying be logical, be logical. I'm atheist, and I'm saying it's not logical. All the top dogs figured that out: Nietzsche, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, etc...Yes, people have freedom of choice, but they never choose what choices will be presented, how their emotions react, or what they've learned thus far (and don't tell me that you can be born in Africa and still choose to be perfectly educated as a Harvard scholar). Knowledge chooses us. That means knowledge of what is "good" and what is "bad." Anyone who thinks they can choose what they want and how they feel is very naive, and control only comes with knowledge which is not equally distributed. Once you realize that freewill is an illusion, that people would be nothing without influence from the outside world (something not within our control) - you will have no reasons to hate anyone.

Even Richard Dawkins said humans are biological machines subject to programming.

I'll tell you. It was a very bad day in Fairyland. Santa had a cold; Mrs. Santa had PMT; the elves were threatening to go on strike; the reindeer had eaten something that disagreed with them; the parcel-wrapping machine had broken down; and it was raining.

Then a sweet little fairy walked up to Santa carrying a Christmas tree under her arm. 'What do you want me to do with this, Santa?' she asked ....

My boss decided not to get me even a little christmas present. I would think the vast majority of bosses/managers get something for people that work directly under them. Plus he makes enough money that he shouldn't be so cheap.
