Dear Wiggles,

My BEST Christmas present came on Christmas Eve 3 years ago.

My dad had died 10 days before Christmas. Immediate family was able to come but some family who lived a great distance didn't even get contacted until after the funeral.

On Christmas Eve I got a call from 1 cousin who had been close until she became a jw in her teens. We had had very little contact in the decades following that time. When she called she not only expressed her sympathy over my dad's death but she told me that she had left the Witnesses the year before.

My cousin's call was a far better present than any of the toys I received in childhood! I'm asking the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe for more of the same this Christmas Eve or any day for that matter!

Merry Christmas!

I never got a Christmas present until I was about 16. Just some hard candy or a piece of chocolate. All of our money went to booze. My first Christmas present that could be called a present was a real Lionel electric train set. It was awesome. They must have been really drunk to buy me something that nice.

A 2 ft long 3-D puzzle of the sizeable I won 12 years in the past. This present replaced into relatively the catalyst for receiving 3-D puzzles each year because then. 2 years in the past I won the vast 3500 piece puzzle of manhattan city; the sizeable continues to be my favourite nonetheless.

My child (too young to purchase anything) created a beautiful card. Inside were really cute coupons for things like:
1 extra hug for when you are sad.

An afghan that my mother-in-law made me. She made it from yarn that belonged to my aunt, who passed away.
