of corse. Just because they like the same sex doesnt mean they aren't people too. God loves everybody.

Hawke 1 Cor 6:9-10 doesn't say anything about being gay is a sin I have read the Bible and I believe in God and Being Gay is not a Sin Not one place does the Bible say anything about being gay. Anyone can take and turn the words around to say what they want to say it says But If u read it for your self it will say the samething I read. Also Lieing is a sin if u think about it just about everything in the world since 1890 is a sin Computers, TV, Movies, Cellphones, Credit Cards, Porn, Sports, If u really want to live like god wants u to u would have to live like they did in 1776 and then u could be sin free "MAYBE" If u didn't kill someone.

Father/Mother God created us all. If that doesn't answer your question I don't know what else would. Remember that man has a choice whether to sin. Jesus spoke against intolerance and hate, so I would think the gay bashers and the homophobes out there would be the ones that have serious issues with spirituality and God given love. It is a sin to condemn another so let's pray for those who cannot find acceptance towards all.

First of all, sodomy is NOT just a gay act. Many straight men have anal sex with their wives, and enjoy oral sex, both of which are classified as 'sodomy' and 'oral sodomy' in various U.S. states.
Dear tiff21xy, masturbation is fornication as well, and now tell me you that haven't have done that.
And you sweet symba, the Pope also says that you should have sex only to procreate, please ask your parents if they had sex only once to conceive you (or if you have siblings, the equal number).
The Bible says a lot of things, for us, common mortals interprete, so why is it, that the 'gay issue' is the only thing that conveniently people choose to quote and obsess about?
There is not a question as to whether God loves gay people or not -- since God is love, God doesn't choose who to love and who not to love. God just loves, and invites us to do the same, unconditionally.
And some folks like to say that God 'loves the sinner' but 'hates the sin.' This is silly. God doesn't love or hate anything, since God is NOT sitting somewhere judging anyone. God is too busy making bumble bees fly and flowers open and stars sparkle to be bothered with the silly human behaviour of judging others.
God is all about Life, love, and goodness. God is not hateful or angry or coming back to get revenge. Those are just a bunch of ideas some rival, frightened Middle Eastern shepherds dreamed up 5,000 years ago, and they are not true, and they do not apply to our lives, today.
'Whatsoever is good . . . think on these things.' This is the key to serentiy and peace and the ability to love everyone, looking for the good in each person and focusing on our similarities, not our differences.
Peace on Earth.

The interpretation of the Bible contradicts itself with this issue. It says that God loves all and we shouldn't cast stones, but why would he not love gays then. Didn't God make us in his image? Gay people don't hurt anyone with their decisions on how to live their lives, yet so many people have decided that it is wrong. The president has said that letting gays marry would ruin the sanctity of marriage. I'm sorry but to everyone who is married, does it seem like a blessing from God. What sanctifies it if the divorce rate is so high. Straight people are mocking the marriage system by not taking it seriously. Straight people can get drunk and get married on a whim in Vegas but a gay couple that is loving and committed cant... This makes no sense. By shutting out any kind of people from any religion how is that serving God?? Seems like a double standard to me. I believe that in time not everyone but most people will understand that we are all the same. Why be so concerned with the war on terrorism if we can stop the war on Gays??
I hope that you have a wonderful holidays and a great New Year!!!

I believe that gay people should be allowed to find happiness and love. God always says "Hate the sin; love the sinner".
There's lots of stuff sexually I do that is considered a sin, so, I say, do what makes you happy!

hawke, I do not recall Jesus saying one word about it.
hawke, I have read the old and new testaments several times. Neither Leviticus, nor Corinthians was written by Jesus, nor do they contain his words.
As a matter of fact, when jesus fullfilled the prophecy, by his own words, the laws of Moses were abolished. All of them! Not just the ones you choose to toss around.
