“If men harm a woman with child so that here fruit depart her…they should pay a fine as determined by a judge.” This seems to say abortion is a minor sin in God's eyes.
The next verse says, “…if more mischief follows, (kills the woman)eye for an eye tooth” for tooth.

But Jesus says, in Matthew 5:38-48 “ It was said of old, an “eye for an eye tooth for tooth”…But I say onto you Love you enemies, etc

Maybe Jesus new covenant allows for abortion (which God seemed not to think was minor anyway) and freedom from the death penalty. Jesus really was a Liberal wasn’t he?

It is often argued that there would be no charity if not for Christianity in America. I always respond, "Most charities are secular." Common sense tells me this. But is there really any proof?

1. Christians are totally confused. You have Jehovah's witnesses saying one thing and other christian religions saying another thing.

NObody can agree on what the bible teaches!!! Although I agree more with Jehovah's Witnesses.

2. Evolution theory kind of makes sense. With muTations, natural selection, etc..., But i'm still not convinced, there is lack of evidence and just a whole bunch of theories hoping and wishing to erase God. These guys don't compromise, they are convinced the bible is a lie and God does not exists.

3. There are a billion other religions out there....and everyone thinks they are on the correct religion!!!!!


Whats going on!!!!!!

Why is everyone so confused????

I WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH!

Why doesn't God come out and tells us what the truth is so that we may know it and fight for it?

I would wordship God, but what if he does not exists???? Or is it SATAN causing all this confusion????

yes i am almost 17 and i still give my parents a list of gifts to get me for christmas and i will continue to do so until im around 28/29 of course by then it will probably be just money...yeah anyway all my friends and i continue this tradition in our families. what do you all think?

We have freedom of religion yet in still for the most in America you have to be a Chirstain or some other religion of sort to be view has normal. Peolpe should talk about different religious views. An atheist is not a person who hates God, how can you say you're an atheist by admitting that God exist because you hate him or it. Atheism means without religion or the belief of God or gods. So in all it means without theism. That's what it means, and you can still be a moral person and have values has an atheist. The respect of humanity is the main value of being a true Atheist.

This will be my first Christmas away from my family, I just moved to CA, and really need to make xmas special so that I dont feel so homesick. I will be planning a dinner with my roomate, a friend, and a ladyfriend. What is traditional fare for xmas? I was going to get a ham, but how about turkey, chix, or some sort of beef?
