Jewelry is nice. so is an expensive box of chocolates.
you can write her a card that says that you are going to
take her somewhere very special/romantic o
like on a picnic or that very up class restaurant. if you do the card thing be specific about where/ when you are taking her and what you are going to do.
(the picnic you are bring all the food, wine etc.) and
be sure to ask her, when she is free to go out before you make reservations.
anyway it all depends on how well you know her likes and dislikes.
and what she already has. If she is young enough you can quietly ask her parents or her sister for hints.
Don't give her one of those cash cards they are so tacky.

Need more info... but clothing is great. Diamond earrings & a matching necklace is what my husband go me our first Christmas. Spa packages for a massage are heavenly.

Earrings, dude. Trust me. You can't go wrong, and it's very hard to buy the wrong size. Just make sure she has pierced ears.
