It was the last Christmas Eve before my great-grandmother passed away. My whole family had gathered and I was really close to her. It is just a really nice memory.

I was about 9-10, we had family in from all over. My uncle was asleep on the couch christmas night. I was young and didnt know about the real santa yet. My uncle had said that Santa sat on him when he sat down to eat the cookies and milk. I have never forgotten that year. It was also the year I got my first set of disney movies (which I still have). How about you?

My grandpa's funeral was on Christmas Eve in 1990. Even though it was a really hard day for her my mom never let on and worked as hard as she could to make sure that us kids had a great holiday. The fact that she was able to put everything she was feeling aside for us makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
