Fine people Salt of the earth
I wish I could learn their skills.
They are keeping a part of our American history alive.
I'm not to ready to accept the religion. (Strict)

I moved to Michigan recently and saw my very first Amish person not even a day later! I absolutely LOVE the colors they wear. Lots of black. Too cool! They don't talk much though, do they? At least not the women.
I am highly annoyed by their buggy things. I ride a motorbike most the time and I'm always scared I'm going to rip around a corner and smack into an Amish horse. I think they should just drive along people's lawns, really. Would be safer for me.
Hey, is the horse Amish, too? Or is it just the people?

one belief is that they dont have cars, i am even told they used to not have electricity. I can live without car payments that almost 450 ever 6 months or without electricity and computers, but that just wouldnt be any fun.
I would want to live with the amish and work with them even raise children within their group. but i hears there was once a very weird practice in the way they danced? Only because in the rest of the world Satan pollutes everything and people pollute the air and the churches and the shopping malls with their witchcrafts and sorceries, and then they turn around and call themselves Healers. The more wicked sorceries are just nothing better than poisoners

I like Amish people, I respect them, they are true to their beliefs and kind and generous people. I do not accept or believe in their beliefs, but they aren't the kind to proselytize so I am happy for their way of life, they make great furniture, honey and jam too.

I admire many of their principles, and I'm sure they have more wholesome lifestyles than most, though I don't consider technology evil as they do.

AMish people remind me of christians that are stuck in the 1600s, i think ill pass. Pure Pagans are far cooler than any christian branch.
