That is very interesting and as a Christian I will be checking to make sure you are right.
I have long thought that the protesting by Christians especially the ones who shout out evil remarks like whore and murderer ect were wrong. We are supposed to stand for God's love of the world and have faith that He is in fact in control. Also the ones that said that we might kill some important part of God's plan must be wrong as the God I worship says all things are possible through Him.
I just don't believe we need the government to play God for the godless. It is different when they enact laws that are for peoples safety and to protect property. It is wrong for any one to insist people change their morals as God has given us all the godless and the Godly the freedom of choice and it is not our right to insist on taking that away by legislating morality.

The bible is clear that abortion is not murder, death, killing or any other form of evil. The bible defines murder through out the book. Hundreds of examples of murder, death, and killing are outlined along with the punishment for these infractions or crimes. And no where in the bible is there an example where abortion or anything resembling abortion is considered wrong or evil.
The Bible is clear about what happens to people that lie about the intention of the words in the Bible. And the words are clear that abortion is supported by the Bible both in words and the actions of God. Those on this site that say abortion goes against God's will are participating in a grave sin. They will be judged and punished.

This is clear. His new covenant shows us, that the OT law od seeking revenge, or repriation for a crime, or mis deed, is no longer needed. This is backed further by the teaching only God can judge, and that Christ himself will (and has) paid for the wrong doing by dying on the cross.
Basically, abortion would be biblically wrong, as it is to kill a living human, however, it is a paid for sin, and as CHristians we should love the anyone who mkaes that choice, and not pass judgment.

God also said: that He knew us before we were born. He knit us together in our mother's womb.
Abortion is murder. To God, abortion is murder.
What do you think that fine would be from the Judge? Hmm?
In the old law, yes, it was an eye for an eye.
You murder, you pay the penalty by death.
Christ also said "live by the sword, die by the sword."
You are to forgive and love your enemies. Yes. But, that doesn't mean you condone what they do.
God forgives us for our sins. But, we still must face the consequences of our sin here on earth.
If you commit murder. You go to jail, or even die. That is the earthly consequence. Alot of people in jail are saved. Even if they commited murder, they are saved and will go to heaven.
Isn't is awesome to have a Father who loves us unconditionally?

Jesus was and is Love.
Jesus tried His best to teach us HUMANITY
But Jesus did not come here to change Man's Laws
He came here to Full fill GOD'S Laws
there is a difference
Abortion is Murder and God is crying at how we have closed our eyes on the little ones

Well, actually, abortion causes no harm to the woman with child, only to the child. So abortion wouldn't technically fit under that scripture anyway.

This is actually a massive penalty. Your version is wrong:
"When men have a fight and hurt a pregnant woman, so that she suffers a miscarriage, but no further injury, the guilty one shall be fined as much as the woman's husband demands of him, and he shall pay in the presence of the judges. "
That's right, the husband can charge them as much as he wants...

I think that's an extrapolation. Besides the old law was talking about physical harm to a woman that causes the baby to die, not the concious effort to end a pregnancy. So if going by your logic, the aborted baby is the one who needs to forgive.

God does not allow for the destruction of any of His creations.
Abortion is abhorant to the Living God.
No, the Jesus you speak of is the Son of God....whom YOU will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face on Judgement day.
I might suggest that you take care with what you say about Jesus, the Living God, if only in jest.
You will have to answer for your words at that time.
"But I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak,
they shall give account of it in the day of judgement.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words
thou shalt be condemned."
The words of Jesus Christ

The law in Exodus is talking about ACCIDENTELY caused abortion.
There is definitely forgiveness for those who abort their children, but that does not make it acceptable to God.
