...I attended a wonderful Bible church in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. The focus of this church then was equipping the saints for the work of service. We were trained and discipled in many ways - with courses in evangelism, apologetics, Biblical counseling, and children's ministry. (One couple who excelled were tested with Bible college students and ranked like 2nd and 12th. Our church had really taught them well).
...This equipping focus doesn't seem to be around as much now.
...Can anyone explain why, or have any idea what is happening in evangelical churches? Are people still being trained for ministry? What is the focus today? What is the main ministry in any church where the Bible is taught and Jesus Christ is preached?

What's your opinion on the following statement?
Poverty is:
A. Completely the fault of the individual
B. Mainly the fault of the individual, but partially the fault of the government/society as well.
C. Partly the individual's fault, partly the government/society's fault.
D. Mainly the fault of the government/society, but partially the fault of the individual as well.
E. Completely the government/society's fault.

Also, if you have any suggestions as to what the individual (or the government or society, depending on your answer) can do to improve the poverty situation, please include that. Thanks!

PEOPLE THEY FEEL THE SAME WAY WE DO! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SKINNED ALIVE OR BEATEN JUST FOR FUN! i'v read lot's of things on the KFC cruelty and other cases and there are some seriously fu**ing heartless people out there who have the fu**ing nereve to say "its just an animal who cares" and iv heard some *****les say that its funny!! they don't like me. I am mailing him a gift (he is far away) and he is staying with them. I feel bad sending a gift for him without acknowledging them. How do you maintain belief in God inspite the fact that there is evidence supporting many of the Bible's stories are not correct. If that were not bad enough, the logic behind God is severely flawed when one applies reason to the claims of this entity. While the stories that have been shown to hold some truth do not support any claims of there being a God.

Do you try to rationalize your beliefs around science, or do you dismiss the scientific community completely? Or is there some other manner in which you continue to support your beliefs?

This is more of a census and I'm not meaning to sound arrogant, What I'm wondering is what culture and the identity behind this culture means to a non-welsh speaker in Wales. Is it praised as an individual aspect of Wales or simply seen as something not to bother with since there is a language barrier?

By Culture I'm refering to Art forms (such as poems, music and performing arts), Sports, scholarly persuits etc. As a welshman I can appreciate these because it's part of who I am, but is it also an appreciation that requires a language?
