why do people think that the way emos dress, look,talk,and act is nasty and not a way of life?

Every generation has that group of people that they don't like because they are not like eveyone else. Looks like emo is it for this generation

People hate emos, because they are different. It's very straightforward. I don't even know what a freak'n emo is, but I know that most humans with their social structures do not like unconforming individuals. We are a self policing kind. Personally I enjoy seeing waves in the otherwise calm pond of humanity.

Probably b/c they (the males) act like they are gay and rub their bodies all over each other and such, but are not actually homosexual. So, they are frauds and they are prejudice against overweight people. Have you ever seen a fat emo kid? No, b/c you can't be heavy and be emo...you have to be like pencil thin.

Because to average people, they are whiny and sensitive, or angry and pessimistic, when in reality there is usually no actual reason for them to act that way.
It's an annoying mask people use to hide behind so they don't actually have to have courage.
Anyway that's my experience with emo kids. I know life is all drama when you are young (mine still is), but facing facts instead of hiding behind your hair is the way to deal with it.

Because most emos are the kind of people that have never had a job and had everything handed down to them on a silver platter, and yet they still think life sucks. btw, did anybody else see the tickle me EMO doll on Mad TV. frikkin hysterical.

Because it's not a real scene! It's a rip off of punk and goth. Also when you ask them what they stand for they don't know and can't explain what the hell Emo really is.

I think people think badly becuase they are deffinitley over dramatic, and they tend to be this way for attention, they claim they are outcasts, but, they really just want some attention that they are not getting. I cant stand it.

many human beings label me as an emo, yet i'm no longer hated via any of my extra religious pals. many human beings hate goths and emos basically bcause they are used to goths and emos who disrespect their ideals. i think of that perhaps we could desire to alter the way we present ourselves if we'd desire to alter the way we are seen.

because they think they are hot ****, most of them are not emo, they just dress like that cause its the "in" thing'
