Myths the world over inform that humans were created. Of course, the Bible claimed as the word of God gave story of how humans were created. This is fantastic in that it tells us that female was created or cloned from one of the ribs of the first man, Adam. So if the Bible story is a fiction, then there is no way to tell you how humans get here. Even if there are from outer space, they must have been created. Anyone who can just come out from nowhere, isn't he God? So simply put, God put you here.

Do you really want to hear what Cathlics say or do you want to know what the Bible says? God created Adam and eve in a perfect garden and told them to multiply make the entire earth like that garden. they were the first humans. He told them not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad. Satan said that the only reason they obeyed is because God gave them everything and then Satan tested them by temping them to eat from this tree and they did. Which is why we are now imperfect and living in this imperfect world. God's purpose for creating the earth was for it to be perfect and filled with perfect people and that's still his will. Think about it, God says in the Bible that the only men that don't sin are perfect. So why would he make us alll imperfect and then when we sin, send us to hell to burn forever. read this Psalms 37:11

If Adam and Eve and the story of the fall of man is fictional, then there was no need for Christ to die in order to redeem us.
Everything happened just as it says.

The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. Humans being's last split with the common ancestor of us and an ape was 7 million years ago. From there on, humans started to evolve seperately.

Last week they said the first life on earth (micro organisms) came from a meador that hit the earth. I believe in evoulution, if you don't just take a good biology class!

It is fascinating how desperately you fight against faith. One must presume from such that you recognize its reality in general, but arre absorbed by the effort to deny it individually.

adam and eve existed about 6000 years ago, that was the beginning of God's "family", any time before that is irrelevent to god>
