He is an inspiration to us all. If we could all live as he does. Look at the facts:

1. He is born "different" than the reindeer.
2. He's persecuted by the reindeer who tease him and don't let him play reindeer games with them.
3. Yet he doesn't hate them, and doesn't even try to get revenge.
3. Finally, he rises up, in an incredible feat of heroism on that foggy night. It's almost super-deer-like the way he guides that sleigh.

What does this mean???Me and this lady were talking and I told her how I feel like the church walls are going to come down on me and I get very uncomfortable in a chruch. I can not go along with a person telling me that my soul is going to burn in hell just for a few bad cuss words or for drinking a beer. If the bible doesn't believe in the seers and the feelers in the world...well what happens to them??? Do they go to hell too??? they can not control what is gifted to them by the higher powers or higher spirit or whatever u choose to call the ultimate power. so what happens to those people ???

After losing a friend, an uncle and almost my life to a mixture of drugs, drinking and alcohol, I have developed an almost irrational hatred toward any of these substances. While I understand that smoking is addictive (my boyfriend is currently quitting), I do not understand why young people start, knowing full well that it will eventually kill them.

I also do not understand our society's obsession with drugs, but this, perhaps, could be listed under the same properties as smoking. Addictive, yes. Calming, sure. What the hell is the point? Is your life REALLY that bad? I can understand that some people might have it that awful, but come on.

And the only I really hate- drinking. I cannot, for the life of me, understanding why I am so against this. Drinking responsibly does not irritate me as much as people who aim to get drunk, do something really stupid, then ***** about regreting it later.

Is there anyone on this effing planet (or website) that agrees with me?

Hi. My boyfriend and I are celebrating an early christmas at my new apartment before we each head to our separate homes for the holidays. We are both 23. We are exchanging gifts, etc, but I was wondering if anyone had any great ideas for a fun/festive/at home/reasonably priced activity? I'm having such a hard time doing this! I'm almost 19 and have always had trouble finding gifts for him. He's a tough macho guy, watches hockey and wrestling, works with horses and electricity, and has LOTS of electronics and jackets already. There's only 4 more days to Christmas. What do you think?
By the way, the biggest store around here is Wal-Mart. Other than that, there's Zellers, Staples, then small local stores like angler stores and such. Help please!!!

Just curious, why taking into account the way society is today why would an American male(specially if you are non religious) under 40, white or black ever want to marry an American woman? I have been to about 4 weddings of Americas in the last 4 years between white male/white female, w/w, black/black, and bl male/wh female. They all got divorced in less than 2 years. Everybody that I know is getting divorced. 1) These days it is very easy to have sex without getting married, and sex is nothing to so many American women (believe me I went to college here, why buy a cow when you can get the milk for free). 2) Before most of the time the woman was the main person holding the marriage, nowadays that is mostly not the case, lots of them are pretty quick in divorcing. 3) Money loses in general are pretty bad for males. 4) Many American women are raised to be like males, not many good wives in that group, more into parties & drinking. Living with somebody seems so much efficient, and simple

in so many of the answers given here it is the christians who are either misquoting , misunderstanding their source , or (if i break from my normal practice of giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and go with my gut feeling) maybe they are just plain lying - get your FACTS straight - thats FACTS - not stuff thats written in "the big black book of easy answers for every occasion" - and you might try this too - stop believing things just because somebody else who is trying anything they possibly can to sell the christian propaganda , wrote it or said it somewhere - maybe yoiu could try some cross referencing and when you find contradictory "facts" or "science" .... you might ask yourself... why??? or how??? (could/would that happen) - and if you get really brave you might not hide behind "the devil rules the world" BS that you so often use -what a pitiful bunch of brainwashed babies you really are - comments?
