I am doing a fundraising/ public awareness day for my community...I have a few events going on to raise money for our domestic shelters...My question is my event isn't happening until the last week of April but because of my fitness/ strength competition I am having I am wondering how much time a head should I start advertising? I want to be able to give the men/ ladies time to start training before my event date?....Any ideas? I will be advertising through placemats, tent cards, flyers, newspaper and radio....

I would agree they know enough, word for word. But does that constitute belief or non belief? What they do with the Bible and their "Watchtowers" anyone can get reading any magazine, even Cosmo. And for the record, an answer on here earlier claimed most Christians ignore the Last Supper Jesus had with his Diciples...we apprently do not "celebrate" it. Death is not a celebration, but a mourning. Guess I've never been to a Jehovah funeral...now I am interested to see how they treat their dying. We do acknowledge and give heavy thought to Good Friday, and the death on the Cross. Hence, why Christianity is alive today, and why during church services we take Communion a few times per month (depends on ur church and Pastor or Priest). Looks like the Jehovah's don't have all the answers.

I looked at my email this morning and was found to be in violation by an angry smoker. WOW talk about freedom of speach. My point was this, People that smoke cigarettes are not only ruining their own health which they care nothing about, but also polluting the air anywhere within 20 feet of where they are. I also pointed out the fact that they very act of smoking is littering. Have you ever studied a smoker with their dangling ashes falling onto carpet or floor? They do not care about anything. Also, I am tired of people throwing cigarettes out the windows of their cars or just any old place they choose. On the beach on the street anywhere. These people are zombies and complete idiots. These people have wrinkled up faces look 25 years older than they should and have a terrible gray complexion to their faces. Lets put an end to all public smoking this year and then ban them all together. The cigarette companies have helped ruin America. What should we do?

I find it funny how the U.S. and U.K. both speak "The Kings English", but the Britts have phrases that are not normally used "across the pond".
For example a diaper is a nappy, and shag is a type of carpet in a U.S. and a euphanisam for having sex in the U.K.
Is there anyplace online that has a collection of these phrases?
