I have had a lot of exposure to Indian culture here in the U.S. because I have had some very good Indian friends. Food is great and I find their culture interesting. They are generous and welcoming. I also love their sense of humor, and as far as I have been told, women have equal status to men in Indian society.

The history of India is an interesting study in human sociology, i.e. how culture develops under non-monotheistic religions.

The history of Native Americans represents an entirely different history and culture, which is quite interesting also.

I like reading history and culture. And about today, every society has its positive and negative things, every society has something commendable, and deserves respect and critisizm at the same time. But it is not up to me to critisize, because as a foreigner I am not very literate on its issues. So I enjoy my learning and shut up.

I don't have any real problems with Indian culture. You guys had some riots over that movie Fire didn't you. Don't like lesbianism much over there, right? And what's up with that runner? That's pretty sad too. Good that you guys are supporting her.

Entertainment:
Movies songs really suck. Bollywood more superficial than hollywood. They slap too much makeup on. Bipasha, mahima are pretty (no aish isnt)
Food: Lovely
Clothes: Some are gorgeous.
Jewellery: The ones that are sophisticated are nice.
Wife or daughterin law abuse: Not nice. Esp kitchen death. I know all indians dont do this but some do.

Not a big fan of the caste system, but otherwise, India has been a pretty reliable friend of the United States, at least since the end of the cold war, so we appreciate that.

I assume you didn't mean Native American, right?
