social phobias are not overcome easily or quickly. the person experiences such fear of social situtations that s/he avoids them all together or attends them with anxiety. this anxiety will cause the phobic to A. want to leave the setting ASAP or B. be so fearful that s/he does little, if any, socializing.
the person knows s/he is different and wants to be more outgoing and socialable, but, emotionally just cannot do it. these sufferers need pity and sympathy. they are stuck in an uncomfortable position, from which they believe there is no help.
it takes porfessional help to grow beyond this affliction. with talk therapy and drug intervention, this problem can be rectifiied.

Your question is a bit unclear.

I think that it's not as simple as "waking up" from or snapping out of social phobia. Social phobia is a real problem and it's deeply rooted in the person. They want to socialize, but are overcome by fear.

It is possible to get over social phobia, but it's not easy. It takes a lot of effort and professional help is usually needed, as well as support.

There is so much negativity nowadays, I'm afraid to be around other people too.
That and everyone is so fake and won't really talk about things, they hide their feelings and practice hatred.

So no, not social phobia, reality of this time.
