Recent decisions in California Courts have ruled in favor of abuse survivors in that state. The Legal Department lawyers of Jehovah’s Witnesses have fought with filing after filing trying to claim “clergy penitent privilege” with information that would lead to the possible conviction or implication of further crimes against children by Jehovah’s Witness child molesters. The secondary issue regards civil damages brought upon victims due to negligence of church officials in not reporting allegations of child abuse putting additional children in danger.

This ruling from the court states simply that the church cannot use “clergy penitent privilege” as a way to protect pedophiles from law enforcement

If u say Jesus is the son of God..i dont think its possible for God to torture his "so called" son..some may say that its because when Jesus got tortured he lifted all the sins off Christians..if God wanted Christians to go to Heaven from the first place..Idont think he needed a Human that happened to be Christ to do it for him!!

I'm sorry, but I can't abide by this "man is the head of the household" BS the Christians seem to think is the only way to live. I was always taught that a husband and a wife were partners, equal in power in the household. I couldn't live with being subservant to my man. Do you know what would happen if I let my boyfriend make all the decisions around the house? We'd have six PS2s but no food. We'd be hungry, cold, and probably on fire.

I love my boyfriend, and I respect him, but I will never be subservent to him, and he would never expect me to be. We make all decisions together and face all problems side by side. Why do Christians think this is wrong?

I love the Lord and I am not always the greatest most compassionate christian and I will be the first to admit this.
There have been things in my life that have made me bitter,
not being able to have my own children, the financial battles my husband and I went through in 2003 to name a few. Although I am coming to terms with these things and becoming more accepting of the things I cannot change, there are still some scars and at times remants remains of the hurt that happend. Have you ever been bitter about what has happened to you? How did you overcome the bitterness?

I mean things like Jesus spontaneously healing people, the world flooding and getting two of each animal on a single ship, the seas parting because a guy puts a stick in it, a bush burning but not getting damaged, etc. All these amazing things only happened so long ago in times when science hardly featured and people were gullible.

Why don't these miracle-type events happen today but happened like every 5 mintues way back in the day?

Why do they believe this when the ORIGINAL bible is gone and no one ever really know what the original bible really says? Muslims for instance have only ONE book and it says the same everywhere, always.
