My daughter is 8 and I got her the hand held 20 questions game (very popular now and inexpensive ($10-$15), some arts and craft kits, a barbie styling head etc.
Other ideas would be a razor scooter, a boombox.

Second Grade Girl: ACCESSORIES ACCESSORIES ACCESSORIES!
Cheap make-up,hair accessories, nail stuff, (Wal-mart has a nail drying kit for $5) jewelry, special dolls (whatever is her favorite - Dora, Barbie). My daughter loved books and artsy-fartsy things like creating jewely with beads, spin-art, and anything else you can get in the kids art set section of Micheal's Art Store or Hobby Lobby. Also markers, paint, beginning a scrapbook(paper, those fun scissors that cut in neat designs)
At that age I bought my daughter a nice size trunk full of scrapbook paper, scissors, glitter glue, markers, colored pencils, etc. Unlimited ideas and possibilities in a storage case she loves!
This is an excellent age to begin her a collection of something. A favorite animal (horses, birds, dogs) so you will know what to get for next year.

Have a present sent directly to her and some good ideas for pleasant visuals are at the following blog link. Each banner or image links to FLICKr photo album. If there is merchandise for the design, the store address is featured with the image at FLICKr.

I HATE the assumption of endorsing video games for babies. i individually do no longer think of that's the final which could be presented for good innovations progression. Get him something which will take him outdoors so he can work together with the ecosystem. My 8 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous gained something reported as "trojan horse Pods" for her birthday. looks like a smaller edition of the habitrails for rodents. She is often outdoors. provide it with a trojan horse vacuum.

I don't think that you could go wrong with anything having to do with Bratz or Barbie. You didn't mention how this child is connected to you, so just to be on the safe side, I'd check with mom or dad first. You wouldn't want to get something that they don't allow.

First get suggestions from the parent of that child. They will tell you exactly what to get.
Barbies, bratz, doll house, dress up jewlery or makeup for girls
