I ordered something online for my good friend and I looked at the tracking date and it says arrival December 27th. Is there any way I can make it come before Christmas or is it too late?

I have found that Muslim women, and Hindu women especially will not date outside of their race. I know for a fact that they find other race's attractive. It's a Physiological gaurantee that they find other races of human beings attractive, yet they in my opinion choose to be rascist, and only date within their race.

I was under the impression that in the 21st century we were over the social misconceptions of other races, and were not ruled by centuries old rascist beliefs. I truly feel pity for women/men who allow their lives to be dictated by family members in other countries, books that carry no relativity in today's world, or social misconceptions they believe to be reality.

In the book of Judges, chapters 6, 7, and 8 the Israelites are warring over the Promised Land, and God tells Gideon, an Israelite leader, to thin his ranks of 10,000 men.

Gideon sends home any soldier that brings the water to his lips with his hands. He keeps only the soldiers who lap up water with their tongues.

I first heard this from my third grade teacher as some sort of lesson, like I was supposed to understand it. I read it recently in the "Blogging the Bible" series by David Plotz at Slate. I still don't get it. Do any of you?

I have spent the majority of the day with my Aunt and her family. My Aunt has an anurism on her spine, this morning she was coughing up blood. The Dr. said it just a matter of vey short time. She has been sick for some time now, and against all advice they have done no planning, and she has no life insurence.

I wanted to talk to her alone, so I had the nurses aid at the nursing home call me when they left. I went back to the home, and talked with my Aunt. She asured me that she knows Jesus, and we prayed for His will to be done quickly, and with little pain. She had a peace come over her about everything except her family. Her husband is a Shriner, and the kids are far from the Lord. I can say this because I know them and their lifestyles. She wants us to remember them in prayer. I might be officiating her service, this would be my first.

I'm new to Y! Answers, and I like the whole idea. But I can't understand why when someone asks a religion or *gasp* evolution vs. creationism question, and a bible believer answers, the bible believer's answer *always* gets bad reviews and the evolutionist's answer *always* gets good reviews. Could someone please clarify this situation to me? I personally don't want to be active in a community which is going to rate answers based on agree/disagree instead of whether or not the answer is a good one.

My late mother chose cremation because she always had horrors about being buried. She asked for her ashes to be scattered among flowers, and it was done.
