What modern day actors, politicians, singers... famous people are Freemasons?

I read that Scottie Pippen and Jesse Jackson are Freemasons. Is this true? What other living , Famous people are Masons?

I do know what the Masons do... the wide range of charitable work that they do... the common misconceptions about the order... I do know that they are not a Secret Society... but, more of an Organization with it's own secrets.. like most other Fraternal Orders, Organizations, Labor Unions, Families, Companies etc... And I do know that membership is no secret and most Masons proudly let it be known that they are Members... What I would love to know is what living celebrities, politicians, etc... are Freemasons?

Dark stone your a nut and a bigot.

There are many celebrities that are Freemasons depending on what your definition of a celebrity is. Do a search on famous Freemasons and you'll be surprised.

I am a proud Master Mason and there's nothing saying I have to hide that. I am also Catholic yes the church frowns on this but the Catholic church shouldn't judge anyone! Many of my brothers are Catholics and Jewish but you were way out of line with your remarks. Yes many prominent people are Masons and we help each other when we can.

Brad Paisley and Micheal Richards are a few but very few go around advertising it to the world due to ignorant people.

I do not think Scottie Pippen or Jessie Jackson are but they may be Prince Hall Masons

Jessie Jackson was made a sort of "honorary" Master Mason. On Memorial Day, May 25, 1987, Jesse was made a Master Mason on Sight by Grand Master Senter of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Illinois; thereby making him a Prince Hall Freemason. He did not go through the degrees and it should be noted that the Prince Hall Lodges are not recognized in every state by their respective Grand Lodges.

This sort of conference is controversial and mostly symbolic.

I know at least one user on this site who has advertised on his profile that he's a master Mason. So it couldn't be that secret.

In answer to your question, I am not aware of any living celebrities who are Masons. But many of the founding fathers of the United States were.

A lot of lawyers, doctors and senior police officer are freemassons, you can draw tour own conclusion my venerable friend.

As a lot of politicians are lawyers, it follows that a lot of politicians are masons.

Members of the Catholics church are not likley to be Masons, against the faith. Scottish Masson are a different been a hangover from the Knight Templer.
