Im a christain and would like to know what do we do as christains if we were to have a desease in which there ended up being a cure , if we found out that reserch was done by stem cells a life is taking that cure wrong? it wouldnt be on everything that you would use but if you knew for sure what would you do? and what do you think about on the products that stem cell reserch is done on sould it be written on tha package so people could choose?

But suppose that when I die I find myself facing eternal damnation because it turns out that the universe is even wackier than Lewis Carroll on LSD, and there really IS a supernatural being that can only be seen or heard by lonely shepherds wandering in the desert, and who really DOES dole out eternal rewards on the basis of who lives up to some archaic system of morality.
Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! But anyway, now I see the truth and obviously "believe in" God, since the guy is standing right in front of me. Do I get into heaven now, or does the all-powerful, all-loving and all-forgiving God not care about your belief once you're dead?
If I'm standing there saying, "OK, I was wrong, I see now that you really do exist", is the God of Infinite Compassion gonna say, "Sorry bub, times up. You're spending eternity in a lake of fire, and there's not a goddamn thing you can do about it"?

If this is your God's idea of forgiveness, I'd just as soon take my chances, thanks very much.

No matter what people say it wont harm God in any way fine don't believe in god if you don't want to but no need to get upset if i believe in him. And as for Christians who say that you are the only ones that will enter hell, i say that is dame rude if you ask me. As for the Jews that say that they are the chosen one and think by being chosen is to hide what you have, that as well is a fantasy. You were chosen to teach the people the knowledge but pride over took you and god forgave you. But you my friend are my brother even though you don't want to be my brother. Some times an older brother have to give in to him younger brothers stubbornness. The conclusion is that their is only one god for all mankind if their was 2 Gods believe me they would be war.

I am atheist and was debating religion with my aunt. I remember reading about Galileo and how he proved a statement was false in the bible that stated "The earth is the center of the Universe". Does anyone know that passage Galileo proved wrong. Are there anymore out there that was proved wrong or thought to be debatable. Christians just think they are so right and everyone else will go to hell if you don't believe. I need some more arguments.

Dogs are pack members and need to be with the rest of their pack humans ....no wonder dogs freak out .......

My dad has been having some health issues for a few months. A CT Scan he had performed this week showed a spot on his pancreas- he's going to the doctor tommorow to talk about what's going on with it. I'm trying to be positive and not worry, but it's not working. I truly believe in prayer- and I feel that the more people you have praying, the better. So, could you please say a prayer for him? And, please, out of courtesy, if you are not a Christian or don't agree with me that prayer works, etc. please don't leave sarcastic remarks.If you dislike my question, just ignore it please. I'm feeling a little shaky here- my dad has had numerous health problems for many years, and I'm just really worried. Thankyou.
