But suppose that when I die I find myself facing eternal damnation because it turns out that the universe is even wackier than Lewis Carroll on LSD, and there really IS a supernatural being that can only be seen or heard by lonely shepherds wandering in the desert, and who really DOES dole out eternal rewards on the basis of who lives up to some archaic system of morality.
Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! But anyway, now I see the truth and obviously "believe in" God, since the guy is standing right in front of me. Do I get into heaven now, or does the all-powerful, all-loving and all-forgiving God not care about your belief once you're dead?
If I'm standing there saying, "OK, I was wrong, I see now that you really do exist", is the God of Infinite Compassion gonna say, "Sorry bub, times up. You're spending eternity in a lake of fire, and there's not a goddamn thing you can do about it"?

If this is your God's idea of forgiveness, I'd just as soon take my chances, thanks very much.

It appears several of our bible thumping friends are here tonight. Kind of sad really. Christianity is not practiced in the true spirit of Christ. This may seem a bit off at first, but give it a moment to sink in. The Holy Bible was compiled of Canonical texts accepted by the church because they fit their message. All of the texts they didn't like were thrown out. A small percentage of the literature available was massaged into a book then studied over 1,700 years, and the result is what you hear in church today. Believe what your heart tells you, that's what Christ said, go with your conscience. There are no wrong answers, just wrong motives.

God's forgiveness is eternal. I am a Christian and I believe that even in hell after death that God will still forgive those who have lived a life of unbelief. I do believe also that everyone will get back whatever they have put out too, but it is not forever like we normally think of it. You see in the spirit realm after death there is no time so a moment there is like an eternity. It could be the equivalent of thousands of years in earthly time.

It's not worth the risk to keep living without acknowledging him as God of all creation. Please read this true story: http://bibleprobe.com/iansNDE.htm

God is more forgiving than we can imagine, but we still have to live a good life and try not to sin. All his laws are not for him but for our benefit.

Hbr 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Rev 20:11 ¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Hbr 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him];
4 God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Jhn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

before judging if you would do a little studying you would know that God says you get to heaven by faith not by works.he also says he will use the simple things to confuse the wise. here is one question for you. if you don't believe in God than you probably believe in evolution, now the "big bang" theory is even wackier as it states "in the beginning there was NOTHING"! then goes on to say NOTHING Exploded and created the earth and so on.Who really sounds like there on LSD ?

Your opportunity to accept salvation through God's Son, Jesus Christ, is in this life time. This life time is our testing ground. Implausible? Not on your eternal life. God has given plenty of evidence for His existence and His Son's, as well as the truth of His Word -the Bible. It is destined unto a man once to die; after that comes judgement. Now is the appointed time of salvation. If you choose to ignore the evidence -or not even consider it- then you have made your choice for an eternal destiny. All mankind is without excuse because the attributes of God are plainly seen in creation. If you choose to fall for the Lie of evolution instead of God's pure truth, you have made your choice for an eternal destination. In "civilized" nations like America and Canada etc, we have even less excuse because of the numerous resources available which support the accuracy and validity of the Bible and creation over evolution etc. If you choose not to look at the evidence and instead you blindly and willingly listen to the foolishness and pride of men, then you have freely made your choice for your eternal destination.

we are made in a dull ringer for God and the Angels, alongside with our means to love. God very typically in Scripture utilizing the analogy of the nuclear kinfolk as a way of training. only as a human father may disipline and prepare his toddlers, so is an similar with God. it truly is a training approach. If someone tells you no longer to attempt to appreciate God because the theory is only too vast for you mind, then you're chatting with a biblically illiterate fool. possibly you need to carry your opinion for once you talk to someone who's knowledgeable of Gods note, Gods mandates and Gods common experience training. the following is a idea for you: there is the very similar quantity of evidence that no God exists as there is that God does exist, so I advise very strongly that you be a minimum of 50% respectful and a minimum of 50% open-minded. Why? because you've for sure no longer tried to have a relationship with God, nor do you've any theory of the Scriptures that God despatched so that you does no longer be wondered like you're. the teachings are sparkling and finished of understanding and easy experience. you opt for to take heed to everybody no matter how unlearned they could be, who may attempt to respond to your questions the perfect they understand how, yet you're taking even with they say and protecting it adverse to one hundred million human beings. particularly of doing that, why no longer study some thing your self particularly of mocking some thing you do not realize? party: I nonetheless see church homes training that you're going to finally end up in a burning pit called hell and there always and ever your flesh will burn and also you may scream in soreness. Ever listen that? nicely, this can come from someone who does no longer understand Greek Idioms so conventional in Scripture. those who imagine they're headed for hell, are in accordance to the manuscripts, headed for a lecture room - they're going to study, no longer BURNED. And convinced, as a be sure if my baby does incorrect, I reply by training the youngster, no longer by causing my baby terrible discomfort. in case you want to sentence your own author, thats your agency, yet its in common words smart to appreciate why you're condemning Him and your self once you're doing it because some fool reported some thing stupid. If I say some thing stupid about eating foodstuff, will you end eating? If I say some thing stupid about operating or driving a vehicle, will you end driving and prevent your pastime? Then why may you react this kind because some fool reported some thing stupid about our Lord? No offense, yet that seems kinda immature.

Good point. But, you can't argue religion with people that truly believe it. They think they are correct so in their minds they are. Take your chances and enjoy life because if you take notice of of the nonsensible you will only harm yourself. The Bible can not be proven to be anything other than literature.

We all have one life and during this life we chose who we will serve, either God or Satan . If you ignore God, then you are still serving Satan. There are only two families, so to speak. I hope you really reconsider waiting until that last moment, when you are no longer able to change your eternal destiny. God will be only your judge on that day. Don't take that chance when you can be part of God's family now and forever. Its so easy to believe and you don't have to stop liking science either. Come on over, I want to meet you in Heaven someday and celebrate.

The Chistian God may be implausible to you, but if you reject what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross you will send yourself to hell. He died for your sins. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

If there is a God and you do not believe in Him, you have lost everything. But what have you lost if you follow the morals from the Bible and live as a good person, help others; and you find out that God was a myth? NOTHING!
