he said that he wants something practical? but i dont want to get him something i think is boring! we decided on a $60-80 bracket... he likes mountain biking, and waterskiing... he has just got a new job recently.. he suggested a helmet or gloves (boooring!!) thanks

At the moment Christmas only lasts around 7 months of the year. I'm thinking of patenting an idea so that it lasts 364 days a year - every day, in fact, except the old pagan Sun-god festival of the Roman Empire. We could send 'Bah ! Humbug' cards on 25th December.

Then we would be free to believe the fact that Jesus was born in April, when lambs were in the fields, and we could treat each other nicely all the time, not just once a year.

Is it a winner ?

i am sooo stuck! my boyfriend and i have been dating for 2 years in feb & i have NO idea what to get him for christmas this year.. i am 19 and he is almost 21. i have gotten him everything i could think of for the past christmas' and birthdays and he has EVERYTHING! he just bought a nintendo wii and has 6 games for it. he has everything he needs for his truck, a digital camera, a laptop, etc.. anything and everything a boy could have. i really dont have a lot of money and ive already made him a coupon book for his last birthday. im thinking of a scrapbook, but we dont have too many pictures of each other so im kinda ruling that one out. he likes pretty much everything, but i REALLY need ideas!! thanks!

IT SEEMS LIKE MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT COME HERE ARE IN THEIR TEENS. ARE THERE ANY ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 30-50 YEARS OLD ? I've been watching world's most amazing videos on spikeTV and these guys are so dumb. For example, they almost die doing a stunt and the majority of the time they try it again. They put they're lives on the line (very unlike firemen and policemen) so why should anyone care about them (family included) they don't care about their lives so why should anyone else.

After all, if he's all powerful, would his requiring or even asking for our praise be nonsensical? Would a human being get any satisfaction from being praised by, say, a horde of ants? Isn't the need for worship rather childish? Why should I worship anyone or anything? I wouldn't worship a President or a king, why should I worship God? (If he exists.)
