LOL...Christians relaxing and having fun...ever heard of Christian teen summer camps? I hear they get pretty wild and naughty...so I'd say, yeah, they can.

There are some Christians that have to make an issue out of everything. But there are also some that just kind of relax, taking notice that the world is not black and white, and not everything is right or wrong.

I grew up in churches with people who seemed to think that anything that was fun and didn't involve praying, going to church, or reading the Bible was a sin in some way. For a while, I was almost afraid of burning in Hell for breathing the wrong way (and that was partially my fault, for not rising above the scare tactics and thinking for myself with logic and reasoning).

Fortunately, I don't hang out with people like that anymore. I do my service to God by treating other people the way I would want to be treated and doing the best I can in life. If someone doesn't think that's good enough, then they can just suck it up and keep their opinion to themselves, because I sure ain't listening to it--not anymore.

oh i've been there...i haven't been to church in awhile because of just that...nobody drinks occasionally and i mean wine once in a blue moon and criticizes everything....i just need to find a church that will just relax a bit. it depends on the person. i am christian but i believe loving others should come before criticizing them ever so harshly....yes some are staunch in their beliefs taking every word forbadem where everything becomes an issue. like i was asked, an eye for an eye but then you can't revenge on others...and i was like don't take that literally! me and others are more accepting but i have yet to meet one.

The bible allows far more than it bans, and a lot of what it allows is fun. IT TELLS US TO RELAX ALL DAY EVERY WEEK!!! and then some additional days each year, and some whole years of nothing but relaxing. so yes we can relax

You bet we can... come to some of our BBQs next summer. several big snow events planed by different churches in our area this winter.. but I hibrinate,I do not like snow...plenty of action activities going on year round... football, base ball , soft ball... if it involves a ball there is a game going on most any weekend the weather permits... if not it's basketball almost year round at one gym or another... more picnics than you could go to all summer... swiming, watersking,,, you name it some church group or another is doing it some plac around hear and all are welcome... but youmight have to bring some tatter salad or something... and if you can play an insterment you will probably have to play for your hot dog... if our church aint doing something some other is.... lots of fun... and dances too quite often.. but never was much into that myself...going to be a big Christmas tree cutting trip in a few days...lots of hot drinks and hot food...who told you Christians can't have fun?

Everything is not an issue with me I am Christian but I like to laugh too. However I do not think God is an issue to laugh about.

I'm Christian and I have loads of fun, and relaxation is my middle name. There are just things, for our own benefit God has told us to and not to do.

Jesus Christ said that He came to give us real life, and have it more abundantly.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly.

Life is more exciting, and rich living a Christian life than any other. God will open your eyes to what really satisfies. Life just keeps getting better, and better everyday.

There are more do's in the Bible, than don'ts!!!
