Communication is the key to working with one another. Punctuation is elimentary for understanding what one is communicating.

For example:
Punctuation is elementary. For understanding what? One is communicating.

Probably ONLY God can figure out what some people mean when they do not use Capitalization, do not use punctuation, and do not use standardized spelling. People here (Y!A) and otherwise can only guess what many people mean by what they write.

An example of clarity (or the lack thereof):

If a person writes "Godisnowhere" would we think he/she is meaning:

God is no where
OR
God is now here

no atheists are the only ones that i've come across that have a problem with incorrect spelling or punctuation probly because most of them don't have the level of knowledge required to constructively critcise someones faith on any other level

Yes. One reason His Word has lasted is the ability of the Hebrews to write. It was "written in stone", as the saying goes, and it was important that the message be clear.
