I've been watching world's most amazing videos on spikeTV and these guys are so dumb. For example, they almost die doing a stunt and the majority of the time they try it again. They put they're lives on the line (very unlike firemen and policemen) so why should anyone care about them (family included) they don't care about their lives so why should anyone else.

Your question's dumb. Just because someone's occupation puts them in a dangerous position doesn't mean they want to die. Would you care if someone in your family died of lung cancer after smoking for many years? It's the same principle.

It's based on taking the ultimate chance in life. Charlie Chan scares me watching him do his stunts.

I like the dude named The Spiderman from France that can walk up to any building in the world and climb it all the way to the top.

They are more alive than most people who spend their lives worrying about if their airbags will deploy or if decaffeinated coffee is safe to drink. They don't ask anyone to "feel sorry" for them.
