I was watching the religious channel last night for s/hits and giggles and I was shocked when some evangelist said that in his church 1+1=3 and that this was an example of "god's math."

How Orwellian of him! This is the exact kind of chrisitian mindf/uck that I find disgusting. Now for my question: what is the most insipid thing you've ever heard from a religious person?

As a piece of literature, it contains metaphors and allegories. When the flood came down, the bible says that the doors in the sky let out the rain. Clearly this is a metaphor, as there are NO doors in the sky.

If there is one metaphor, we have to admit that we must look at the whole bible and decide for ourselves what is allegorical, and what is literal. Those who claim that the whole bible being the word of god is completely literal, are really making fools of themselves. How can they take in literally? How do can they take even the garden of Eden literally?

1.we dont go around flashing guns and shooting people
2.i dont use drugs or sell them either
3.i dont hit people or hate people becuase they were the oppostie colors
4.i dont rob stores
5.and not all gangs try and take turf, we form to protect each other and our family, the BIGGEST gang in the world, MS 13 (marra salvachucha) was formed becuase some Salvadorian people were trying to protect themselves from mexican/black gangs and then they blew up
6. and i dont try and recruit people

what is the difference of a women being turned on by the idea of another women casue shes curious and being turned on by an actual women like if a women got a tingle form checking out another women is that the same as being turned on by the idea of another women or is she being turmed on by an actual women and not just the idea . if she is turned on by the actual women does that mean she likes women even if she have never cushed on one .

Judging from the attitudes of the people around me I think people should go to sleep for a very long period of time.

I have no idea what to give my husband for Christmas this year. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves hunting and fishing, but I have done the whole gun/fishing pole/camoflauge, etc. in years past. So, I do not want to go that route. He is really not into high tech stuff, so that is kind of out. Does anyone have any good ideas? I really have NO idea.
