i tend to think about the past and wonder, had i been part of it?
black people are labeled black... i'm black, but i have an extremely fair complexion and i'm not even albino... what am i defined as, if there is a definiotion for "black female"?

WHY do you need to be labeled? You're who you are. You're more than a white as well as more than a black, so you're a very special person! Isn't that enough?

Label yourself whatever you want to be. The only person it really matters to is you. No matter how light skinned you look, you are still black. Or brown or whatever you want to be...

if your hair is kinky your black, you obviously have white in you some where down the line, most black Americans do, though they don't want to admit it for some reason
