Since 1992 the Guinness Book of records has listed the longest English word as:
Floccinaucinihilipilification - the act or habit of estimating or describing something as worthless, or making something to be worthless by deprecation.
It is one letter longer than antidisestablishmentarianism.

Theoretically it has been "antidisestablishmentarianism" for years, but there are longer (technical terms, especially in the medical field, end up stringing these amazing words together).
However . . .

The usual one given is antidisestablishmentarianism (28). If you allow the use of technical terms, the disease in miners caused by inhaling silica or quartz dust deep into the lungs is called pneumono-ultra- microscopic-silico-volcano- coniosis (45).

I don't know the spelling of the word ( I can't find it in the dictionary) but it means people against the establishment of government. anti dis establishment man tarisim. Something like that.
