We have a tail bone but no tail is theory. I'm asking for real proof, as in the fossil record.

I know it's not the cost that matters......but I am wondering exactly how much people are spending these days on gifts in total for their kids, family members, etc. I think we have spent around $300, but we started back in August. We are almost done.

Except for the funny Geico commercials, I don't see many of them walking around.. So you're always saying that no missing link exists and that why don't humans have an ancestor?

I guess you don't acknowledge the Neanderthal. But then again, if you believe in Creationism, there are many things that exist that you don't acknowledge....like facts.

Hi.

I'm a witch in training, one could say, but lately, I've been feeling myself a bit drawn to various Ceremonial magics [I don't K the word]. Lately, I've been finding Goetia to be of particular interest.

So far from what I've found, it involves the conjuring of various demons [It's based on Christian idealology, but I would call them "Malign spirits"], and bargaining for effects. This bothers me marginally, because the Goetic spirits are not known for honesty, or benevolence.

My question is, should I bother? I get good enough results just asking for help, but I do like complexity, and think maybe this could be something worth trying.

Thanks.

My sister in law is from Mexico and speaks English fairly well, but speaks Spanish fluently and her daughter knows English and Spanish. Is it rude of her to come to my house where we only speak English and converse with her daughter in Spanish? I have asked them to only speak English in my house but I'm not sure if I was being rude, or they were?

Well the thing is, is that my Grandmother (and Grandfather) does not have alot of money AT ALL! So please show me some really good crafts we ould do togther for Christmas. And please make them Christmas crafts. They could either be food, or with some items, or something for gifts ideas.

Decided on a good way to gain points so I've been using the following to answer all the haters:

[Homophobic Gay-bashers like you make the rest of us straight people look bad. You'll be much happier if you spent your time and energy on living your own life instead of trying to tell someone else how to live theirs.

"Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." - Jedi Master Yoda

Thanks for the 2 points. =P]

It wasn't until I was on my 7th or 8th question that it dawned on me that by telling them not to try and control the lives of LGBTs I'm technically doing the same thing (i.e. telling them how to live their lives)...

So do you think it comes across as overly hypocritical or just a twisted irony that you can't preach tolerance and acceptance without being intolerant and rejecting in the first place? Hmmm?

I just logged inon Yahoo!Answers. I opened the Religious section, and was reading the questions on the first page.

It seems, as an Atheist, I'm intolerant, mean, and I always shout ignorant nonsense. I specially seem to be very mean to Christians.
It seems all Atheists do these things, according to the question I read.

Since I wasn't even online, I wasn't aware of the fact I had done this over the last hours, but sorry. Really.

After you accept my apologies, can we please stop this insane generalizing that's going on in this section?

Just think about it for a minute...how is that in the slightest bit rational? What do you know from your experiences here that would lead you to believe that? Life is not organized, life is not fair, life does not lead up to some great climax or reward... and Even if earth was created, it sure as **** isn't created by some All-powerful, all-loving, omnipotent dude. Love is an emotion..Where does this guy keep his Medula Oblongata? All-powerful...hmm...not powerful enough to stop the holocaust before 10,000,000 people were tortured and killed, was he....and then there's wars, and hunger, and catastrophic disasters, and suicide bombers....wait wait, maybe he is powerful enough and just doesn't want to stop them....but then there's that all loving part...Just none of it adds up. It makes more sense that we are all here by some natural conditions, that weren't created by anything but randomness that spirals into order..humans..confusion...beliefs in gods....Can anyone help me understand?

I always do, unless they insist (and I mean REALLY insist) that I don't. However, a lot of our guests don't remove their shoes. If they offer, it's tough to say "yes, please do" because you know they don't want to, or they'd just do it. I can't bring myself to ask- so if they don't do it, I just let it go. So far, the best method is to greet them outside and remove my shoes when I come in. Some get the point, others painfully ask if they should and some just march on in.
